Clear printing but some errors
The selection of pieces is fine. The typesetting and printing are very clear and no single piece is ever split across a page-turn (sometimes a new variation will be over the page, but a piece is never interrupted partway through). The book is stapled together and lies open easily on a music stand. All pieces have been transposed up a fourth from the original notation, written with 0, 1, or 2 flats and suitable for the range of an alto recorder. However, some of the key signatures obviouly do not match the melodies (e.g. "l'Amie Cillae" where the key signature is Bb but the piece is in C major and every B written in the piece is made a Bnat, either by van Eyck or the editor), and some accidentals in other pieces are missing.I also wish some pieces had been transposed differently (e.g. "Bocxvoetje" need not have been transposed up at all) so as to use the first register of the alto recorder to its full effect. You can get this book and enjoy it, just don't trust the editor over your own instincts when it comes to keys and accidentals.
