I have always liked Fram Air Filters and this one is no exception!

I needed to perform an oil change on my 07 corolla and I was proceeding to setup an appt for service at longo Toyota. At checkout they gave me an estimated total of 89$ plus tax for an oil change and air filter replacement. I thought that was way to expensive and I particularly don't like going to jiffy lube so I decided I would perform the oil change myself. It took me about 30 minutes and I purchased all the materials myself. I bought the oil filter for 6$, case of motor oil for 24$( synthetic by the way) and this air filter for 11$. I performed my own oil change for a little over 40$ and the dealer was going to charge me an extra 50$ for who knows what. I went to Costco to get my tires rotated and balanced and I still did everything for only 40$. I recommend you perform your oil changes on your own and just buy the materials through amazon, even the local auto stores are expensive. I saved myself 50$ and did exactly what longo Toyota would have done to my car. I looked up the part number for the filter and this filter fit exactly on my car and was the same type of filter the dealership had provided.

Needed a new engine filter. Did the research, found this one. It fits fine. Forgot what color the filter is supposed to be, before this. Glad the part was available.

Came as described though the rubber seal is white. Good quality. Fits in my '08 Corolla, I installed it myself. The hinge is tricky on my lid, so I had to pay attention to seat the lid correctly so that I could snap the clips on. I have read other's reviews saying that they could not close the cover once installed, so lift your lid and push it back in the hinges if you are having trouble and it should seat - I'm not sure if mine is broken or it is the design, but no biggie as this fits and does what it is supposed to do! This filter price is comparable to what I have paid at the auto store, but buying on Amazon will help me to build my Subscribe and Save cart, plus I get points back on my Amazon card, and it will keep me on top of my car maintenance. I have a really cool monthly budgeting software, and it keeps me aware of every dollar. Thanks Amazon for helping me to save more money!

The only thing that I did not like is that the frame of the filter is made from heavier-duty paper. Yet, it does not affect the overall function of the filter. It's a filter, it works. It fit the intended vehicle.Recommended.

Installed on my 2005 Matrix, that I bought used in 2015, I've never changed the Air filter, because when I checked it, it looked clean...until my last oil change...it looked real dirty, so I ordered this one. I was worried as reviews of other filters complained about fit. Well, this one looks good and is sturdy enough, even those it's mostly matted paper. The edge of this filter has a lip and it fit right into the car's Air box. The cover fit snug and clamps where tight as I snapped them on. Perfect FIT. I suspect other people who had issues with fit, must not have had that Lip of the filter edge seated correctly. Anyway, this one fits GREAT.
