The cookwear is great. Overall, the pots and pan are a light to medium overall weight. The heavy bottoms distribute the heat well and they cook pretty darn evenly. I'm really happy with them. The knife set is a good set, decent heft for the most part, and are sharp. The downfall to them is - dishwasher. The handles hold water so dishwasher is a no go, especially when it comes to being in a house with kids that are going to help and unload.... but never do, so the knives will still be sitting, in the dishwasher, with water that hasn't been shaken/drained out, stagnating. I'd only knock 1/2 star off, cause, well, it isn't the knives' fault we have lazy kids. But the holding water in the handles is a bit of an inconvenience.

This isn’t a bad set at all for the value.

We've been wanting to move away from TFAL for some time now. The issue was the cost of upgrading until I found these. we have no complaints about the build or how easy they are to clean. The one thing that we are still getting used to is the pots don't have a long handle for moving them around one handed. Other than that they're great! P.S. the knives are super sharp and easy to clean. The one odd thing for me is that they need to be immediately dried after hand washing only. In today's world I would say everything should be dishwasher safe. If they're stainless I don't see a reason they should rust or whatever the thought behind it is. Just sayin...
