Works great - even with wide lenses
I'm very happy with this prompter. It works exactly as expected. My initial apprehension with buying this prompter was that I use a 16mm lens. This prompter has PLENTY of room for wide lenses. In fact, I might even be able to go wider. To be more exact, I'm using a 16mm lens on a cropped sensor (APS-C) so it's more like a 20mm equivalent. I'm shooting on a Sony a6400 and have the camera and lens close to the glass (forward). The glass has a great balance of letting enough light through and reflecting light from the prompter. The image from both the camera and my phone are clear and crisp.Another concern I had was about the black "bag" that goes around the lens to provide background darkness. My fear was that a fabric bag would sink down into the shot. But it's not fabric - it's more of a stiff, polyester cover. There's no concern that it will fall into the shot. It stays in place. The carrying case is better than I expected (though I wasn't expecting much) but I won't use it because I've set up in a studio and have no plans to move the prompter. If you do, then keep the packaging material. It came with a quick-start guide (one page) but I watched the video in the product listing prior to setting up the prompter and it was all I needed to get set up quickly with no issues.Because it's mostly metal, it was heavier than I anticipated. I have a thinner tripod and wondered if the prompter would be too heavy, but again, no issues. Make sure that one of your tripod legs faces the front if you're concerned about stability. This is a solid prompter at a great price.

Better than I was expecting!
I haven't had a chance to try this in a real world setting just yet since it just arrived yesterday, but I am impressed enough that I had to sit down and write a review right away! I really, really wish I had this for a few video projects I did before the pandemic hit. I did one project with my former pastor, and he was trying to read cue cards positioned off camera. It just didn't go well at all, unfortunately. In the video, it was terribly obvious he was glancing off camera all the time and it was just weird.Similarly, I have a friend who was trying to do a video for her store, and it was very hard for her to come up with a good stream of thought without having things scripted ahead of time.I finally thought I'd try getting a teleprompter, and I'm pretty blown away by the quality of this one. I was expecting something with a lot of plastic and not necessarily well-built, but I was wrong. It's very sturdy, very well built, and it works great with both of my main iPads. This is going to be a game-changer for the times I have opportunities to do video for folks (I'm mainly a still photographer, but I dabble in video). On top of the high-quality build, it came with a really nice carrying case, too. I can't wait to give it a real world try. Clients are going to be impressed!

Excellent, with case!
Great little product, used with my DLSR and iPad to teach my acting students how to work with a teleprompter. Fantastic! You do have to download any teleprompter app (free or paid) to use it, but that's simple enough. The case is sturdy and overall it's fairly large, so if you're looking for something for travel, or more portable, you might want to find something smaller.

Best teleprompter for the money.
This setup was very simple and worked with all my gear I already used. Very lightweight but strong enough to not move around. Crystal clear camera shot through the glass as well.

This teleprompter works great
This is my first experience using a teleprompter so I have experimented a bit. My first thought was why didn't I do this a long time ago. I still feel that way. After about a month using this for two videos per week, I'm becoming more comfortable in front of the camera. It has cut down my video editing time tremendously because of fewer retakes. I'm liking this tool a lot. I haven't used any other so I cannot compare to another. So far, I'll just stay with what works for me.

This thing is awesome
The quality of the glass is amazing. My camera has no idea there is anything in front of it. Perfect. The metal build is of good quality. Only a couple plastic bits. I like that there is lots of room for adjustment for the tablet, the camera and the mount to the tripod. Very happy with the purchase. I'm actually going to recommend my company buy some for our clients.

Had to buy Screws Adapter Mount Set
Is ok. Nice and big, so it's easy to read from it. But I had to buy a Screws Adapter Mount Set. As someone else said in a review, the holes for the screw for the tripod were drilled incorrectly for the smaller holes, which fit most tripods. So, I bought the adapters and finally was able to mount it on my tripod. And eventhough is all metal, the assembling feels a little flimsy. I had to tighten some of the screws, and it just feels, well, like a getting of the ground project. Is not bad, and this is my first telemprompter, but having to buy adapters was a turn down. Otherwise, would have given it 4 stars. Not sure if I would buy again or reccommend.
