I am a college kid who was looking for a lap desk so I wasn’t at my desk all the time and this lap desk has been really comfy for me so far and it is a good size.

I bought this to use with my iPad and keyboard case. I had previously tried smaller lap desks with wrist rests in the same price range as this but they all were either too short to accommodate the keyboard case’s kickstand, or too flimsy to hold the iPad without tipping backwards off my lap. Due to my previous experiences I chose the Sofia + Sam oversized model that does not come with the wrist rest, just in case it would block too much useable space. My iPad fits with ample room to spare, so I probably could’ve gone with the wrist rest model, but I have no regrets as this is everything I wanted with literally no downsides. It’s got a non-slip surface, the memory foam is soft and comfortable, it has a handle, and it’s lightweight yet sturdy.

Many of the lap desks have "extras" - raised bar to rest book or laptop on, cup holder, cell phone holder, pockets, etc. These "extras" would get in my way and limit what I can use it for. I just needed a sturdy flat surface to serve as a mobile table that I can use with my laptop, reading books, and drawing on large pieces of paper.The surface top has a grippy feel so things don't slide off easily. The cushion is dense and comfortable on my legs. The small handle makes it easy to carry around and it's lightweight. Also, the price is great.I highly recommend this!

Mostly like this. Wish it were more like a bean bag than foam, but it is comfortable on my lap for long period of time and large enough to hald the keyboard and mouse. The surface is slick so when I take it on and off my lap I make sure the keyboard and mouse are stuck to some small piece of sticky rubber used to hold a phone on the dasjboard. Other wise, the mouse or keyboard slides off.

This is just big enough to handle my ASUS Pro Art 16 laptop, and yet it is light weight enough that I can leave it on my lap all day, no problem. High end video content creator laptops like mine put out a lot of heat, and this keeps me cool and it’s also more comfortable to rest on your lap than a laptop, due to the soft cushion on the underside. The top is perfectly flat, so it helps the computer to dissipate the heat more efficiently.

I have a 17" monitor so my laptop is heavy. I recently had bilateral knee replacements and the laptop was digging into my very painful legs and my other laptop desk is too small. I did a lot of research and settled on this wide memory foam laptop desk. It's awesome! The foam base is super comfortable and I can work on it from the recliner with no pain pressure on my legs/knees. It's wide enough to hold my big laptop and a mini mouse. I like it so much that I use it as a food tray, writing desk, making small crafts, etc. . It fits perfectly between my recliner's arms. I highly recommend this laptop desk. It's the most useful investment I've made this year.

Great for a writing desk, my MacBook Pro and Chromebook. It's not one of those weak, pillow type desks. It is sturdy and also lightweight as well. Good purchase.

I purchased this item because I needed a large tray to hold my 17" laptop computer and still have room to use a mouse. Also my previous tray had beanbag type cushioning for the pad that just wore out and became very uncomfortable to use for any length of time. I read the reviews before purchasing, but decided to try this lap desk anyway. The full size pad on the bottom is super comfortable and the size is great. The downside is that the top surface is so slick that anything will slide off unless it is kept almost completely level while on your lap. Since I sit and work in a recliner a lot due to back issues, my laptop is almost always slightly sloped. Even with the rubber feet on the laptop, it just slides right off. To get it to work I had to adhere a piece of heavy rubberized shelf liner to the top with double sided tape. I still need to use a rubberized mouse pad though as the shelf liner was too "grippy" to let the mouse slide easily. So yes, the lap desk is big and comfortable, but be prepared to modify it to keep anything from sliding off.
