Converse Unisex Chuck Taylor All Star II Ox

Amazing and extremely comfortable!
These are awesome!Just an FYI, by now you should know Converse runs a half size down for men, however, I'd say to get your regular size in these. They fit much closer than regular Chucks.I am a 10.5 regularly and I wear a 10 in Converse. I bought these in size 10 but only wear them with no show socks (ninja sox). These Chuck IIs are very comfortable, especially compared to the original Chucks. I just don't wear them with socks that have a little padding, they would squeeze otherwise. Planning on buying a 10.5 next because then I could wear any pair of socks I want.

I chased a Giraffe the other day it was no match for the Chuck T's. Speed and agility unmatched by any shoe on the market.

A huge improvement over the original Chuck All Stars - Still stylish, now with added comfort
The Converse Chuck All Star II seems to have disappeared recently from most of the high street shops in the UK and so my search went online and I found them here.I used to love the original Chuck All Stars and owned several pairs over the years, and every single pair of them fell apart pretty quickly and many had issues straight out of the box; on some it was the tongue that always slipped to the side, on all it was the converse tab on the heel that flapped off and the canvas peeling apart from the sole at the point where the foot naturally bends. That's without mentioning the fact that the old ones were simply not a comfortable shoe, hard, flat soles with no arch support, canvas on the heel that quickly disintegrated, leaving you with a hard plastic heel section, the endless dilemna about what to do withthe laces, and woe betide anyone with slightly wider feet or mishappen toes. But damn did they look good on...Which brings me to the Chuck All Star II's. Let's start by saying that they look great on, just like the originals for the most part, but missing a couple of classic design cues, the red & navy stripes anyone...But hey I'm in my 30's now so maybe a more discreet pair of Converse is a good thing, and it does mean that they fit in better on dress down Fridays in the office. The slim profile of the shoe means they still look great with everything from slim fit jeans, to chinos and shorts. I've yet to migrate to dad fit jeans so I can't verify that look just yet.For me with the Chuck II's Converse (now owned by Nike) have taken almost all that was good about the old shoe, and refined and improved it in all the areas that it was lacking before. This means an elasticated tongue that stays where it should, the Convere heel tab being part of the mold rather than welded on afterwards (hopefully this means it wont come off quite as quickly) and extra rubber attaching the sole to the canvas, these might last longer than 6 months...But the single most important difference between these and the original Chiucks is that these Chuck II's are actually comfortable, like a pair of normal, comfortable trainers, and if there's anything that we can take away from the recent trend towards trainers like the Adidas Boost, New Balance, Yeezy's etc. it's that people want comfortable shoes. The main reason for this is the new Nike insole, it provides ample cushioning and support to the shoe, with the added benefit of being removable and therefore giving you the option of tucking the laces underneath the insole, both keeping them in place and more importantly meaning you aren't treading on them every time you take a step or bruising the top of your foot where you had then tied underneath the tongue. You can now genuinly wear a pair of Chucks all day and your feet don't feel like they need a good massage. The only downsides for me so far are the lack of stripe detail, even as an option, and that thanks to that insole they run a bit smaller than the originals and are a bit more snug all over. However overall I think these are a great shoe

Fallen größer aus
Die Schuhe fallen größer aus als andere Chucks. Schuhe sind etwas starr und nicht so elastisch... Ich bin nicht sicher ob das orginalware ist.Farbe Weiß ist wie auf den Bildern.
