EyeHortilux 901792 Daylight Metal Halide Lamps, 400-watt, Blue

I was very excited about finally purchasing the famous BLUE HORTILUX bulbs. My plants responded noticeably well to the blue light. Unfortunately, both of the two 400w bulbs failed after only one month of use.I did recieve a refund but am now skeptical of purchasing more BLUE HORTILUX bulbs.

I found this for half price, on Amazon, thank goodness. This is an expensive bulb.However, it is the best out there, for many applications.I would repeat. It is a high end bulb, but why waste yourtime and mony on inferior bulb? I like the fact I can use it for all phases of plant growth.This is helpfull , now I don't have to play which bulb should I use? I will use it start to finish, sweet!Just set and forget.

This item is NOT what is indicated in the description,title and and reviews. This was suppose to be a 400 watt Metal Halide + Blue as the title states, i received a High Pressure Sodium bulb the exact opposite.I emailed the company after they told me that "its our fault we got the wrong description and the wrong part number on the same posting"This post STILL has NOT been changed and the company HYDRO GALAXY never even responded to my 3 emails I send out stating that their posting is considered false advertising, also that I was under the impression that I was buying a Metal Halide bulb not a HPS bulb and please send the right one.I still got a HPS not a MH. I will be filling out a claim with amazon.

Short stocky plants with lots of flowering sites. Great for vegetative growth. Never used to actually flower, but I hear the blue spectrum is really good as a supplemental light for a dual spectrum that helps with resin production.

This bulb failed prematurely. It only last 9 mos. And for some reason the jacket was partially melted.

You can't go wrong with this product. Explosive growth, full spectrum, can be used for flowering as well. You get what you pay for, that simple.

The bulb looked like it had been fired before and wound up lasting one month. Don't buy bulbs from this seller.

It's a bulb that when your holding, you can become envious of that mogul socket. Hogging that big, round, long, super heavy, bulb. Makes me wish I could run a BLUE some way......... Hmmmm.....
