CONTI GRAND PRIX 5000 TIRE 700x25 LIMITED EDITION CREAM

I have used many brands of tire over 40 years of cycling, but I keep coming back to the continentals. (4000 before) They feel good, roll good, and look good. My wife and i don't have very many flats (more when they start wearing out) so they do as good a job of that as I would expect. They add a nice look to a flat black bike. About the same price range as other top end tires. Go ahead and splurge, you'll be happy you did

I really do love these tires. The rolling resistance is excellent. Handling is wonderful. Overall, the performance of these tires is just great. The best part of them, however, is that they are just beautiful! It seems a little odd to review these though, since they are not readily available.

I'm a big fan on skin/gum-wall tires and can't really ride without them. Unfortunately you either have to get the race oriented tires or the eco-grade tires that have awful rolling resistance (looking at you Panaracer...)Conti GP's are pretty much the standard for performance road tires. They have surprisingly good wet performance for what looks to be slicks, puncture resistances for a low resistance tire, and much better longevity than any other tires in its class.For reference I went to these tires after running Vittoria Corsa Speed clinchers which are supposed to be one of the fastest tires in it's class. These tires felt just as if not faster. You can check out the rolling resistance tests themselves which shows that the clincher versions of the GP5000 might actually outperform any other clinchers...Only con is that these tires are not cheap. If you really don't care about have cool looking fast tires and just want to ride, go with Conti's cheaper offerings.

These tires are the way to go! They last about a year / 4000 miles. I ride on rough asphalt. Very fast and they look great!

Nice color. Tight to mount, but all GPs are, right? Great look to the bike once mounted. Tan walls add a few watts too!

Tires are nice quality and have a durable compound with lots of grip.

I initially purchased these tires for my new carbon rims on my road bike. I concur with other reviews that these tires are difficult to install...and is practically impossible to install without using tire levers. I didn't want to damage my new carbon rims by using the tire levers, so I installed them on aluminum rims on my hybrid bike. The installation using tire levers was not difficult. Thought about returning the tires but I love the tan wall look.

All my years riding I have only used Continental Tires . This Continental GP 5000 TF Edition are great tires. ‘Been riding with them for miles and no complaints and really adds a classic look on my Madone.🚴‍♂️
