Brooks Women's Revel 4 Running Shoe

I barely know where to start... as a long time brooks revel wearer (I've owned revel 1, 2 &3's) I am well versed in this particular style of shoe. i started wearing it 3 years ago as it is the only athletic shoes that helped my plantar fasciitis. This re-design for revel 4 is complete trash. They have down graded the fabric of the shoe to a very thin, flimsy, cheap plastic feeling fabric. Though, my biggest complaint is that the achilles notch (the back part above your heel) has no cushion or padding now, they also raised it so it sits higher on your ankle. These changes have caused two results, the shoe rubs against your heel as you walk and it doesn't secure the shoe well onto your heel which causes friction as it rubs. This leads to blisters on your heel. Due to these awful changes they have made with these redesigns the shoe now fits a half size too big as well because they removed what helps the shoe fit snugly to your foot (thicker quality fabric as well as the cushioned achilles notch).Furthermore, when ordering I had purchased both the denim blue and the black/coral pair. I was only sent the black pair but charged for both. After having to file a complaint through amazon the company has agreed to refund me for the missing pair.TLDR: Don't waste your money or your feet will regret it.

As a Brooks user of several years, I was shocked and dismayed by the poor quality of materials and workmen ship.I was even more shocked to see some 5 star ratings! Either these are first time users or shills.I put on less than one mile and experienced foot pain.The laces are like stringthe heel box is lower than usual and started to rub and pull at the sock.I returned them immediately.I usually put on 40-50 miles per week and need the quality that Brooks was famous for. I do not know what to do now.

SUPER CUTE.Comfortable for a long day on the feet.However they did cause me pinky toe blisters. :(Super expensive shoe.I’m not sure I’d buy another pair.

I have had 3 pairs of Revel shoes. If you line all of them up you can see and feel a huge difference in quality.I love the previous fit and support.I also tried the launch 6 and my foot and knees ached after a couple hours. So I returned back to the Revel.These are better however I wish the quality was better.I struggle to get my foot in the shoe. They fit however the material is thin and collapses as soon as your heal touches it. The outer material is not comfortable or supportive.I will have to start searching for another shoe. I don't think these will last long.

These Brooks shoes (a brand I was not familiar with) are worn and were highly recommended by the entire team at my physical therapy center. (And, no, they have no endorsement agreement.) I ordered one pair and have been using them for a week. They are very flexible and breathe, but have excellent support and a very well constructed sole and foot bed, without being clunky or ungainly. The heel is particularly well designed in that it doesn't extend in the high "V" that so many running and exercise brands now use. And they look great.I was previously a devoted user of another very good brand (initials, "NB"), but these are my new favorite exercise and walking around shoe. I'll be ordering another pair very soon.

They’re cute! And comfy for working out. True to size. But they are kind of wide.

Average feeling shoe. Not a ton of arch support. Mine has a manufacturing flaw and the glue line is visible on the outside of the left shoe which kind of resembles mud that wasn't washed out. Debating on returning because these are a gift for my daughter. The shoe is lightweight and super cute. Adequate for average wear but if you work in retail and are standing in a concrete floor all day (like me), this may not be the most comfortable option. It does feel fairly breathable which may be a plus for those with hot feet.

I bought these because a friend had purchased a pair. They look great (not as clunky as the walking version I have been wearing for many years). I started Brooks on the recommendation of my walking coach when I was training to walk a marathon. I have stayed with the brand. Make sure you know whether you need a neutral platform or another. You can find this out by visiting a running store that has well trained people or going to a podiatrist. It is important to have the right one. This is a neutral platform. I love the weight, the looks, the support and total comfort for any distance of walking.

Had these for a number of months. Acknowledged the feedback on quality. Not as robust as I was expecting however they have surprised me. They are lightweight with bounce and optimal support. Would buy again!

These shoes are so comfy and great for road running. Neutral with just the right amount of cushioning.

Nachtrag 4/2022 nach 11 Monaten:Wie auf dem Foto zu sehen, löst sich der Stoff nach nicht einmal 1 Jahr auf. Schade, nicht die gewohnte Qualität auf Dauer. Und ich habe die Schuhe für normale Spaziergänge genutzt.urspr. Rezension:Da ich schon einige Jahre ein Brooks Trägerin bin,habe ich gleich die richtige Größe bestellt, bei mir 42,5 anstatt regulär 41.Wurde nicht enttäuscht. Habe nach einen Multitalent gesucht, den ich auch als Straßenschuh nutzen kann. Bin sehr zufrieden. Leichter Schuh, die Schnürsenkelhalten auch ohne Doppelknoten ( was bei früheren Brooks Modellen nicht immer der Fall war). Vorne schön Platz für die Zehen, ohne dass der Schuh nach Entenfuss aussieht ;). Bin noch nicht länger gejoggt, aber Powerwalking ist schonmal wie auf Wolken gehen. Gutes sicheres Traggefühl ohne demFuß die ganze Arbeit abzunehmen

Ho acquistato queste scarpe per correre, passeggiare e allenarmi a casa.Ho ordinato la mia taglia abituale e mi sono trovata perfettamente, calzano come un guanto, sono comode, leggerissime e il colore rosa dal vivo è ancora più bello! Valgono ogni singolo centesimo speso e su amazon spesso si trovano a prezzi davvero convenienti.Le ricomprerò sicuramente quando la suola sarà consumata.

Molto comode, suola molto morbida, anche se non arriva ai livelli delle Brooks Adrenaline. Queste però costavano molto meno e sono davvero comunque comodissime. Le ricomprerei.
