Previously, I purchased a road tubeless setup kit which (in retrospect) included rim tape which was too narrow. Since this new tape comes in 2mm increments, I was able to buy exactly the width I needed for my rim (i.e. internal rim width + 1mm). This tape isn't as sticky as the old stuff, but it's plenty sticky enough. I'm hopeful this "lower adhesion" will facilitate easier cleaning of the rim should I ever need to replace it again... the old rim tape left a lot of adhesive behind and required an hour of manual cleaning to get to the point where the new tape would adhere and seal completely... I guess what I'm saying is, maybe "lower adhesion" is more of a blessing than a curse.All things considered, I would definitely buy this tape again as it finally delivered a rim which reliably holds air.

I have used Stan's tape in the past. Stan's is hard to mount and doesn't "stretch" at all. There are always gaps, kninks, leaks, etc. This is just the slightest bit "elastic"...almost like saran wrap. It gives you just the right amount of give to stretch it and avoid the same problems I had w/ Stan's. I put 23mm tape on a 21mm internal width tire and it worked great. The tire was a Farsports Feder.

I couldn’t get this tape to stick to anything but itself. Cleaned and old rim and it wouldn’t stick. Tried a small section on a brand new rim just to check of what I used to clean was the issue, nope, it wouldn’t stick. Tried on a couple random metal surfaces and it wouldn’t stick. Don’t waist your time

I liked that the tape actually had enough to tape more wheels than advertised.

The actual tape itself feels just like the name brand STANS or DTSWISS tubeless tape. The adhesive is good and the tape has strong resistance to stretching and breaking. I have used it on my rear wheel carbon setup and it has held for the past 3 weeks. I recommend anyone save a few $ and get this over the same thing but at a more expensive price.

I have converted MANY tubeless wheels. This tape is thin and stiff - hard to work with. There are better brands.

Some people had issues with this tape but if the rim is prepped properly and the tape is applied properly it works great. I have done 4 wheels and all sealed up great. The rim must be cleaned with alcohol and dry. The rim and tape cannot be cold, won't stick. Do it on a warm day or in a warm area and it's much stickier. Make sure the tape gets stretched tight as you apply and use your thumb to push it down. If you do this you will have zero issues. People that don't want to do the prep work or take the time to apply properly are the ones that are having issues.
