Get to know the size you need!
There are a couple of sizes that you need to be aware of if. First is the standard size for Duo-Fast slapshot hammer tacker, which uses A-11 staples. A-11’s fit hammer tackers that require a 13/16” crown and is a 20 gauge. These staples fit hammer tackers that require a 15/16” crown and is 19 gauge.I’ve come to know the two by the general terms, A-11 staples or 7500 series staples. I’m sure there are a lot of other references for these staples however, in my area that it how most of the pro flooring shops would refer to them as.If you have the Duo-Fast Ergogrip slapshot, you will need to purchase the A-11 staples. The bigger hammer tackers such as the Duo-Fast HT-755 and other tackers in this class use the 7500 series staples.I hope this helps,

I was happy to at long last be able to buy staples for my duo-fast electric stapler.

Too small!
These staples do not fit my Duo-Fast stapler! Why would they market a product that is approx. 1/16" too small for their own stapler? I won't buy Duo-Fast again.
