ITA-MED Back Support Lumbosacral Orthosis (Chair Back) Post-Op Belt, XL

Love this product. I have a lot of back braces because my back gives me alot of problems, especially after yard work. I love being physically active doing yard work, building things, and because I'm so independent I do alot of manual and heavy lifting on my own. I am now 49yr old woman, with an average built woman and strength, standing 5'2, with a back that is so painful sometimes that it keeps me from being able to do the things I've always charged after doing myself. My back has really really slowed me down but I refuse to not allow it, so I've tried different braces, Chiropractors, massage and you name it I've tried it. This brace, with the heavy duty plastic support and the amazing 6 velcro adjustable pieces is EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. I highly recommend this brace. One tip...I still put an extra layer of bracing because I have a very large back yard that I weed and mow myself so in order to get even more support I later up. Yes my back is that bad, but without this brace I wouldn't be able to do the yard on my own. The other brace I layer it with doesn't give me the full support I need but together I don't feel scared to do the work anymore...which makes me so happy. I wish I could find a smaller size but large is all they have. If a small or medium becomes available I'll be buying it and may not need to double up. Hope that helps, sorry so long

It is a huge contraption. I returned it. This is for people that really need to be immobilized. You can walk around with it. But you cannot really sit down. It is huge. Feels like a corset for Frankenstein.
