Actually, most of my cups or glasses look a little lost in the large size. They're good if you have wide drink containers, but I don't. Also, the holder is flimsy. I wouldn't give it as a gift.

We purchased an outdoor stainless steel heater with a table top looking edge. I didn't want the condensation from a drink to get on the ss because I would constantly have to clean it. ( I am a little OCD) So I bought these light grey rubber coasters. They blend well with the color of the heater and they protect the stainless steel. I wouldn't give them as a gift but they work for me.

I ended up returning these as they were larger than anticipated but also thinner than anticipated. I thought they would be cute enough to leave them out on the coffee table in the little holder it comes in, but they look sort of cheap upon arrival. 'But they ARE cheap' - good point, but not the look I expected lol

I like these. I bought three sets for a clubhouse. They are bigger in diameter than a standard coaster, but they are durable and washable and work perfectly for our application. You can also put them through the dishwasher. Good purchase, I would buy again.

These coasters are large and durable enough to hold the largest beer mug and sleek enough for a glass of wine. Perfect for a wet bar!

I was looking to replace old coaster. I found these to be easier to clean and maintain they won't hold mildew and other germs as my old one has done.
