Not strong enough
For the length, this tension rod isn't strong enough to support even a very light curtain. My two-year old also managed to bend it in half with minimal effort. This might work for a window that's barely wider than 28 inches, but definitely does not work for anything approximating the maximum width of the rod.

AWFUL PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY!
Received this product and noticed right away that the rod was dented in several places and also slightly bent. When I opened it up and tried to extend the rod, which based on the product description is a brass telescoping rod: 28-48-Inch, which can be twisted to increase or decrease the width, I was unable to extend the rod at all. I attemepted to twist it and pull it and only succeeded in pulling off the plastic tips at the end. This product is very poorly made and does not work at all. I will not be purchasing this brand ever again and I advise you do the same.

Level or 28"-48" Tension Rod
This rod is lightweight and can only be used for very lightweight applications and can't take much wear and tear. But, if like me, your looking to hang a medium weight valance over a opening under your sink to hide unsightly cleaning supplies and various odds and ends, then this rod will do the trick and be budget friendly. Once you start shopping for curtain rods, it's mindblowing how pricey rods can be! Be forewarned however, the rubber grip end caps on this rod are of poor quality (flimsy and are apt to fall off easily) so you have to be extra patient when positioning the tension rod in place. Because of the rather lightweight, bendable nature of the rods, I didn't make the tension on the rod quite as tight as I would have liked to for fear of the rod bending. That being said, once installed, the rod is holding in place. If you plan to open and close your curtains a lot, I would definitely recommend getting a more heavy-duty rod with better end caps to avoid problems with rod movement and falling. But, since my application is more cosmetic rather than functional, this rod serves its purpose.

These are nice rods though
I bought these to hold the grommet tier curtains for my store's shelving. I should have paid more attention to the diameter of these rods, because once they are extended to 36-46" the weight of the curtains is dragging them down. I really needed a thicker rod. These are nice rods though, but before you buy them, consider the weight of the item you'll be haning from them.

Seems fine, but too large for my needs
I bought this curtain rod to hold a leightweight, sheer curtain panel to hide a bathroom closet. It ended up being just a little too long for my needs. Seems fine as long as you use a leightweight curtain. I won't be returning it because the cost to ship it back isn't worth it. I'll try to find another use for it or donate to Goodwill.

SHOWER CURTAIN TENSION ROD
THIS IS A GOOD CURTAIN ROD, BUT, IT'S NOT STOUT ENOUGH TO SUPPORT A HEAVY SHOWER CURTAIN, I TRIED TO USE IT FOR MY SHOWER CURTAIN, AND THE CURTAIN IS TOO MUCH, WEIGHT WISE, FOR THIS ROD. A I INCHE ROD IS NEEDED FOR WHAT I HAVE.

Nice tension rods but they are only for light weight ...
Nice tension rods but they are only for light weight curtains only. Not really sturdy but will do for what I need them for. They are adjustable, just twist to get to length you need. Came in great shape.

Quality tension rod.
Fit perfectly, and can hold the curtains. It's not a flimsy rod.

Pretty good
Thinner than I expected but worked well. Not sure how strong it is though. So far, so good.
