This pencil sharpener is adorable and makes nice sharp pencils! My kids love to use it also!

What a wonderful designed pencil sharpener that is easy to use and a great edition to the classroom.

The package came damaged and the bottom of sharpener seems a bit dented, but it still so very cute and the kids love using it. We needed a sharpener ASAP and this arrived promptly and it is easy for my pre-k students to use. It's a great way to help them left and right since they can't grasp clockwise and counterclockwise but it is very easy to turn and understand how to use takes a few times to remember to do it correctly. The trash catcher, I forget it's name, doesn't close all the way since the sharpener was dented but it is small and easy enough to remove for the students to remove on their own with supervision.

Needed a sturdy longer term pencil sharpener for my kindergartener. Didn't want to get a small one that would dull so I opted for this and it works great. I do t have it stuck to a table and I'm not sure how I would so j just hold it while sharpening but it's overall a good buy. Easy to open empty and take out blades.

Too light weight!

So, the deal is that you stick the pencil all the way into the sharpening opening, and then it is held there (maybe there's a clamp? I dunno). You can then hold the sharpener with one hand and turn the crank with the other until the sharpening noise changes. Makes a good sharp point and is light, easy to use and very cute. Absolutely surpassed my expectations!

My kids love this cute owl sharpener . It also does it's job very well. Easy to use and remove the pencil from the sharpener.

Do not buy this pencil sharpener. We purchased for the upcoming school year and wanted to try it out before putting it with the back to school supplies. It didn't work at all. It would not sharpen any pencils and we tried a couple of brands. We made sure to have the pencil fully pushed in and we properly turned the handle and the pencil just wouldn't engage with the blade to sharpen. Total waste. In addition, unlike all other returns, for some reason amazon will not come and pick up this defective item for free so shipping it back with pick-up costs more than the actual item. Pass on this one and get another!!

Not good

Cute but very small, I expected it to be larger. It's a Christmas gift so I don't know how well it works.
