Works pretty well with my Samsung smart tv. Does buzz when I use with Netflix and a couple of apps on the tv. I usually stream my fire stick and with that or my blue ray player the sound bar is great.As a follow up to the buzz, I figured out is was the optical cable interface with my tv. I switched to the bluetooth feature and it works fantastic!

Their customer service team is very attentive and fast. The product itself stopped working for whatever reason and they immediately tried to help and when they realized it wasn't user error, issued a refund. When it was working, I liked the sound bar, it could be configured in different positions, the sound was clean and the price was right. I will be sending it back.to them to see if they can figure it out but, they didn't ask me too. Even though the product stopped working.properly, I believe it is an uncommon issue and they offered to make it right, right away.

Initially I felt overwhelmed with all of the options to operate my new sound bar. I quickly realized that I was to use only one of the options available to me. I chose the optical cord. I think it's not a USB, however, the one with little points at the ends. Remove the plastic tips from both ends of the cord..plug one into center of sound bar and one into the same spot on the back of your TV where other USB"S are plugged in..usually located at the top or bottom of this area. Sometimes it is lighted up on some TV's. Using your TV remote..go to Menu..find sound option..move to PCM..then enter..Done. Great price..works well. Customer service came to my rescue immediately.

We bought this sound bar in haste when needing to replace speakers that suddenly started buzzing louder and louder in one of our TVS. This sound bar was either a lightening deal or daily deal and looked like a great value. It was not. The sound quality was meh and the volume didn't reach any where near the speakers it was replacing but we kept it because of the perceived discounted value and because we needed speakers on that TV immediately. We thought it'd be an ok solution til we upgraded again and then move this one to a smaller room. We then realized that none of the 4 universal remotes we owned were compatible. So we were constantly searching for a 2nd remote when volume needed adjusting. The annoyance of returning it and buying another option seemed to outweigh the 2 remotes annoyance, at that time. Within 3 months the remote that came with it completely stopped working! After much research we found no compatible universal remote replacement. We emailed the company's support only for them to confirm that their remote was the only compatible option. They then told me they would send me a replacement if I bought an Amazon gift card and email that info to a different address with a completely different domain name. They also mentioned it could take several months because of covid delays. This struct me as scammy and after all the other disappointments with this sound bar it wasn't worth the risk. We will just continue to get up to change the volume like we're living in 1950 and replace this bar with a better researched upgrade as soon as possible. The discount was definitely not worth it and I wish I'd just spent a bit more originally.

It’s a nice setup but the Optical input does not fit right won’t stay in but other than that it’s a good little speaker and sub

****Updated after troubleshooting directly with Cosoos. Initially I was upset that the hdmi arc doesn’t allow volume control to be controlled by the tv. This was one of reasons I purchased it. Apparently this is a cec function and not an arc function. So separate from the initial issue, it really does sound great. I like that it separates and has a left and right channel. I had to rethink my setup, but I was able to use a universal remote to control both the tv and this for sound. It sure beats having a receiver and the number of inputs and the fact that it comes with all the different cables and doesn’t require separate purchases are a huge plus. For this version it’s a 5, and adding cec in the next version would make this a 10 and I would buy it again.

The COSOOS Sound Bars for TV with Subwoofer is a great addition to any home entertainment system. I don’t get booming bass, I do like the the treble, you hear the voices clearly. It is a little confusing at first when you hook up the hdmi arc cable with a Sony Bravia XBR65X950G, after the hookup you have to turn both units off then turn the tv on first then the soundbar. Also, you have a audio cable to connect the two sides of the bar to work, that might sound simple but if you only are getting sound out of one side that’s probably it.
