VIVOHOME Metal Frame Full Steel Swing Stand, Hold up to 440 lbs, Saucer Swing NOT Included

The quality of the poles could be better and the instructions could be a whole lot better so you know exactly what bolts go exactly where. Once built it looks nice and holds all of our weight no problem. My daughter loves it and has already figured out how to pump her legs and swing on on her own !

We purchased the "VIVOHOME Metal Frame Full Steel Swing Stand" and "VIVOHOME Saucer Tree Swing for Kids/Adults" as a bundle for our nearly 4-year old daughter to have at grandma and grandpa's house. She loves to swing and always has fun on the saucer swing from a tree at nana and papa's house, so this set was a no-brainer since no big trees are available in the other yard. Each item arrived in a separate box and included well-written instructions and the necessary tools (e.g., hex keys and wrenches) for assembly. The entire set tool just under one hour to put together from unpacking to having the swing hung and adjusted to use.The swing frame is colored as shown in the picture: green top cross bar with blue legs. Assembly is quite easy and overall the frame is definitely sturdy for kids. I personally weight less than half of the advertised support weight and did a pull up on it to test the overall sturdiness and it held, but there was some flexing in the top bar and movement in the joints, as expected. The saucer swing we received was actually rainbow-colored rather than the blue one shown in the online product pictures. We prefer the bright colorfulness of the rainbow saucer, as does our daughter. We did not need to use the tree straps with the frame as the length of the rope included with the saucer is more than adequate and the adjustment mechanism is very quick to use.After the frame and swing were assembled, our daughter swung on it nonstop for half an hour and then we read books while she sat on it and swung for another 30 minutes after that on the first day. She LOVES it and has played on it nearly every day for the past two and half weeks. This swing set has since been moved to grandma and grandpa's house. Doing so was quite easy since temporarily removing the support legs was enough to break the frame down into five moveable pieces.Assembly Tips:* Lay out a tarp or drop cloth to prevent losing parts in the grass* Use a magnetic parts tray to hold the extra nuts and bolts during assembly* Use socket wrench or ratcheting box wrenches to shorten assembly time since most of the time needed is spent tightening the nuts/bolts

I hoped I wouldn't experience what all the other 1-star reviewers did, however I experienced the nightmare and lost 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back.To summarize, the instructions are nonsensical, the pieces do not fit, and the hardware is frustratingly incorrect and incompatible with itself.The instruction booklet lists all the parts and hardware that are included, but what's actually in the bag doesn't match. For example, it shows there are only 2 of the F4 bolt, but as you can see in step 3, there are supposed to be 4 of them. The instructions also don't tell you which direction you should put stuff on or where the washers should be placed or which nuts you should be using. For example, see step 1 where the "U" shaped bolts show some kind of nuts and washers INSIDE of the pole, yet they don't give you any idea which nuts you should be using "inside" or on the outside.What's worse and was a real nightmare for me was that the nuts I used WOULD NOT screw onto the threads of the "U" bolts. I had to use a wrench to turn the nut and another wrench as a counter-lever to be able to turn it just half a turn at a time. I spent at least an hour just trying to get two nuts on and also shredded up my hands and fingers along the way.Other steps also indicate the wrong bolts to use, but a bigger problem is there weren't even enough washers to be used nor were there the adequate bolts.All of those things were things I was trying to just deal with and work around, but then came the kicker: the poles can NOT be used together. In one case, the green V-shaped top corner piece had a bend opening so the blue pole could not be inserted until I hammered it wider to allow it to fit. But then one of the lower blue legs that slid into the upper blue leg had it's holes drilled in a slightly different location than the outer pole's holes, making it impossible to put a bolt through the joined leg! (You can see this same thing in some other customers' photos.)I considered getting out a drill and trying to drill a new hole through, but at that point I had to give up and try to reclaim what was left of my wasted day (after of course disassembling the darned thing, boxing it back up, initiating the return, and writing this review you're reading).Do yourself a favor and don't gamble that you'll somehow be a lottery winner with this low-budget, no-quality-control hunk of junk.

Looks good and is stable. Still not sure what four attachments to legs are for as they don't add to the stability.

Easy to set up and fun to use without taking upcoming much space

This is small and flimsy. I returned the product on april 26, 2024; the package was delivered to Amazon on april 30, 2024 and I have no news since. Everything was returned in perfect condition. Very stressful and not fun.

Exactly what I wanted great quality and super easy to put together.

This is the swing that as expected.Set delivered complete, no missing parts or wrong parts.Assembly wasn't too easy by one person so make sure you grab extra helps.We got it work without concrete block but if you want it to be sturdy, please do follow the manufacturer instruction.
