The tech tool I didn't know I needed!
The media could not be loaded. This was one smart home element that I didn't think I needed, but man, it's useful! I installed the three switch plate control in my front entryway, so now it works as a quick and easy place to check the weather, check the time, and even check the Ring cameras before I walk out the door. It's nice having the dimmer switches for those lights, and especially nice to be able to use Alexa controls for it all. With two kids, it's very nice when my tech is hands free. I can see this being the perfect control center in a living room to control a few sets of smart lights, making it the perfect home theater accessory. One thing I thought was a nice feature was that there's a physical cover over the camera lens on it, so you can be extra sure there are no eyes in your home unless you want them to be. The camera is there so you can use multiple control panels as a video intercom system, but if you're not using it, there's a little rubber slide panel that covers it. Love that little touch. The install was very clearly laid out in the instructions, but our wiring was a little tricky, so we called the customer service line and got really quick answers. We sent a picture of our wiring configuration and they replied within a few minutes identifying our problem (needed to connect the neutral wire from a bundle that was hidden in our setup). Loved the quick and easy customer service that actually solved our problem. Can't wait to hook it up to the rest of our smart systems!

After recent firmware updates... it's a winner
I use two of these control panels along with 10 of their single switch panels to control various lights and other smart home pieces. At first there were some issues with stability (I believe due to adding the single switches) but after two updates they have been running several weeks without a hitch. The Brilliant controls give you a lot more options and flexibility to control lights than any other option. For example you can control regular lights, LED lights or even control Phillips Hue lights in the lighting fixtures directly (in other words power is always ON but the switch will speak to the Hue lights to wirelessly turn them on off0 which is VERY slick. Each of the switches has a built in proximity sensor (so you can use them to turn lights on in a room as you walk in) or as standard switches.Overall I am very happy with the Brilliant Control 3 and 4 switch main control units and the single switches that you can expand the system with.Keep in mind that these can do a lot more than just control lights. You can control your thermostat (if supported such as Ecobee, Nest and maybe others), dim lights, control other devices such as ALL SmartThings integrated devices as well as others. It can act as a camera and can show you video of supported external cameras such as Nest.I"m very happy with the units.

Easy to use. Fantastic addition to our home!
Installed the brilliant 3-gang about a week ago, and beyond pleased with Brilliant. The install was actually very easy. Clear instructions are provided from start to finish. You’re guided through setup, everything has been working seamlessly (so far).I’ve connected my beamup smart garage, front door lock, ring doorbell, sound system, garden lights, ecobee thermostat and several smart switches throughout the home. The brilliant home control switch was the final piece to bring it all together. The screen is bright, not dark or difficult to read even during the day, which I thought could be an issue before ordering. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who owns several, or even a few, smart devices.

Failure
I purchased two 3 gang switches, a single switch, and 3 companion dimmers. Both of the 3 gang switches have failed. They failed to the point the manual override switches don’t work. 1 lasted 2 years the other 3 years. That’s a good amount of time if you bought a cheap android tablet but these are expensive switches. Failure of an LCD would be one thing, which is what failed on the first unit, but both units failed to control loads with the manual override switches behind the screens.I contacted support and was told I was out of warranty. They refused to even sell the screen individually or attempt to repair mine. For additional don’t buy information: my single screen is the only unit that is/was in working condition. The companion dimmers would constantly disconnect or not function correctly to the point we would just use the Hue app or remotes over the switch. Today on of the dimmers just started working again after being inoperative for months.I have already begun the replacement process of all Brilliant switches I purchased. I can only imagine how upset others are that invested more than I did to find a company that failed so badly. Maybe they would still be there if they supported the customers who supported them.

Misleading Device
This device is sleek and stylish and a great tech addition to any home. I do have some problems with it however. It does not work with Hey Google as it says it does in the pictures. I should have read it more closely. Its advertisement is very misleading. You can connect it to your google home app and use a different device to such as your phone or a Nest Mini to change the values of the lights. I am very disappointed that I can't just yell hey google at it and have a full voice assistant. Especially when the only way you really can find that out is to spend $500 on it and connect the whole thing yourself.I also recently read that it does not integrate with google nest cameras and that would be exactly what I need for my doorbell, so I feel it's a loss, but I've already installed it and don't really have a replacement for it. So i suppose i'll keep it for now.
