These belts are too small to fit my belt sander. I know it's not the sander because I just bought one from Grainger and it fit perfectly. I destroyed two of these belts and lost a lot of skin on my hands trying to manhandle them on to the machine (I should have been wearing gloves!). They are also very thick and stiff which also stressed the motor.

Fit great and works as expected

After trying for over 2 minutes to change one of these belts, a process that has always been done in 2-3 minutes, I actually had to tear the belt off to remove it. T the full slack position the belt was nearly 1/8" too short to even slip over the rollers and I had no more adjustment left to allow for installation. Quite a dissapointment since I missed the return window due to having these as the next in line when the working belt wore out.

Used to replace original sanding belt. Appears to be as good as the original purchased several years ago

Good value for the money

I'm changing my original 2-star to 1 star. This stuff LOOKS the part, but doesn't work at all. I ruined two projects yesterday because of uneven bumpy sanding. The sandpaper only makes contact to your part for the 1/2 inch or so where the ends are spiced. THAT'S IT! This is what my sanding sounds like... bump!, bump!, bump!, bump!. Etc. Everything was great until I went to use them. The "bump" where the two ends are joined (comes around once each revolution) is actually that - a BUMP! It hits hard every time it passes. Almost knocked the piece I was sanding out of my hand! Forget about doing fine sanding. Not worth returning. I'll keep these until I get mad enough at them to buy some better pieces. DO NOT BUY!!!! You've been warned.
