Riveting! Excellent Read!
I sooo enjoyed reading Logan and Joey's story! This is the first book I've read in the series and will definitely back track to read the first two. I am definitely a new fan. Please consider a book for Logan's friend Isaiah Walker, it seemed that there was a bit of a segue there. Very well written, Brava Ms. Martin!

Spoilery but love Logan and Joey!
There were a few issues for me on this one. Logan has been swearing forever that Joey has always been just a friend. When he picks her up from the bus station, he is upset his friend ghosted him for the last six months but as soon as he sees her, he sees her in a different light . . . his friend is suddenly perfect, gorgeous and he needs her. But then there are flash backs to scenes with is dad where his dad is telling him that he will never be good enough for Joey so he should give up on that. So was Joey always just a friend? Or did Logan always have feelings for her but his dad said he was never good enough. I hated that discrepancy. But I loved Joey and Logan. I loved them together. I loved the mystery/angst surrounding Zach and his mom (can't remember crazy's name). I loved how Logan fought for Joey and wasn't going to let her run away again. I loved how perfect and cute they were together. I just loved Joey and Logan. :)

Logan was worth the wait!
Lex Martin has been, and always will be, a one-click author for me. I will say that I was so excited for Logan's story, I held it for a rainy day. I didn't want it to be over and devour it too fast, I wanted to enjoy it and know I had it on my Kindle waiting for me when I needed it the most. That was this weekend.I read this story in one night starting at 10pm and am currently writing this review after four hours of sleep and six cups of caffeine. I have no regrets.I swoooooooned hard at Logan's story. I didn't think Lex could top Brady for me, or even Ethan, but Logan has wormed his way into first place.Logan is everything you want in a book boyfriend. He's good-looking, charming, charismatic, fiercely protective, loving, family-oriented and loyal. He's also an overgrown man-child sometimes who really needs to think through his actions like an adult, but it's almost an adorable character flaw that you kind of forgive him for being so obtuse sometimes. Plus he recognizes it and owns it and self-awareness is very important.I identified with Joey so strongly. She was someone who didn't quite understand her place. Who knew there had to be more out there and felt like life was passing her by as if she was a casual outside observer to her own life. She was in love with her best friend her whole life (who hasn't been there?) and felt like he never noticed her. She needed to get away, to breathe fresh air, to find who she was without him. They both had their issues. Sure half of their problems could have been solved if they were honest and upfront with each other, and communicated a bit better. But isn't that real-life? We hide things to protect those we love, even if it's the wrong decision to make.I liked that they both recognized their mistakes, and grew separately and together. They both apologized when they should, and through it all, kept showing their love for one another.I will say I did foresee the twist coming, but I truly didn't have it all figured out and how it ended up playing out surprised me.The supporting characters that we've come to love in the other books were fantastic as well. I appreciated getting an update on the characters we've come to know and love, but you wouldn't have felt left out if you didn't read the previous books.I highly, highly recommend you pick this one up. But maybe don't start it at 10pm because you won't be able to put it down!

SO SO SO GOOD
I am hopelessly in love with this book. I can't stop thinking about it. I can't stop swooning over it. I am obsessed. I have this urge to push it into everyone's hands and tell them they NEED TO READ IT RIGHT NOW! You guys, it was BEYOND amazing. So swoony, so feel good, so sexy, so fun and flirty and tender and endearing, and I am just IN LOVEEEEEE with Logan and Joey. They charmed me until I was a melty puddle of feel-goodness. Seriously, I felt so wooed by this story. I know it's going to be on my FAVES of 2020 list. It just hit me in the heart.Breathless is a friends-to-lovers with some unrequited love, and it made me feel EVERYTHING. And I am talking EVERY-FREAKING-THING!Right from the start, when Joey shows up in town for a wedding and Logan is there to pick her up, my heart was in my throat. Joey and Logan have such a natural effortless to their relationship, an ease that lets you fall right into them. As a reader, I LOVED how right their friendship felt. I was instantly able to connect to the closeness and intimacy of the connection they shared. I could tell these two characters BELONGED together. I could feel it in my gut. And it was DELIGHTFUL. Logan doesn't know Joey is in love with him and that brought those unrequited feels of longing and need that crawled under my skin and had me feeling it big time. It was sooooooooo good.SO SO SOOOOOOOO GOOD.I can't even tell you. I ate this romance up. I couldn't put it down. I didn't want it to end. Lex brought MAJOR romance to this sweet story of two best friends falling in love while overcoming insecurity, vulnerability, and proving they can be each others be-all and end-all. It was dreamy, it was romantic, it was magical, and memorable! And I can't say enough good things. I am a FIVE STAR fan of this one, you guys!! I can't wait for you to read it. It's a perfect standalone.

Fantastic book , amazing author!
I am fast becoming an avid fan of this authors work. In the last 2 weeks this is the fourth novel I've read from her catalogue of work and it's the fourth time she's kept me up reading until the early hours of the morning!!!!I couldn't put this book down...... Sleep ? .....what is sleep? ........pffft sleep is overrated anyway especially when you've got a book in your hands that won't permit you to leave its magical realm due to the fact it's a freaking amazing reading experience !So as I say after four amazing reads this author has crashed into my zone and sat herself firmly on my radar, meaning I will be checking out any and all of her work in the future.... in fact I got a bit click happy after only the first book I clicked her catalogue of published books something I've never done with an author before after only reading one book! That there should tell you how I consider this Authors calibre of writing enthralling! This book had me gripped from the start. The characters don't need any time to warm to them I was invested in them, their story and journey from the beginning. The descriptive language and scene settings made me feel right along side the characters enjoying the ride - an amazing feat that few authors seem to get spot on yet for this author made it seem flawless. Now as I have said many times before I dont give spoilers in my reviews but I do like to give an honest opinion on how a book affected and resonated with me. I love this story ......the feelings ran deep for the characters I wanted to know their story, I wanted to stay with them in their fictional world .....meaning when I wasnt able to be reading (you know when the things that have to be done in life cant be put off to allow reading 24/7, like looking after the kids, feeding the kids etc lol) I was still thinking about the characters. Where they were going to go, what was going to happen, how they were feeling, what happens if there's a curve ball that surprises me......SO MANY QUESTIONS! .....and it's that for me that makes a great book and a talented author. So in my opinion what are you waiting for go click 😉

Breathless
I wanted to like this book more - it had everything I thought I was looking for: a childhood best friends to lovers romance where the girl can’t confess and thinks she’s in an unrequited love situation. Let me start by saying it wasn’t a bad book and it was written decently. The issue though was that it had none of the feels. In parts I was a bit bored by the sickly sweetness of it and also the 101 side characters (perhaps because I haven’t read the authors other books so for me it got a bit irritating and confusing). I wanted to feel the heartache and feel the characters - but that was not my experience. 3.5 stars

Loved this series!
Wow Logan is my favourite! I loved him and what he did for his family. Tori still my favourite heroine out of all the series though she just cracked me up!This book give you secrets, love, caring, comedy and homey feel. I loved Logan from the other book in series but in his own book he just was so much more! I was not expecting that to be the secret and how much he loved his brother Ethan and did what he did for his mam.. he made me Swoon! I will be reading this book again with the rest of the series!!
