Don’t buy if you want to replace it in future. I got a 3000k version, it flickers after 6 month use. I asked for replacement since it still I warranty. TorchStar customer service told I must take it down and the ship to them for replacement. But when I tried to take it down, I found it is really hard to pull out. TorchStar sent me some kind of uninstalled guidance but the mechanism of this light is totally different, even my contractor don’t know how to take it out. So far I am still try and TorchStar is really helpless. Just be careful when to purchase it.

I used these to light the basement in an old house, with 4 x 5 joists that wouldn't take a 6" can. They are bright, easy to install, and seem to be well made. I put them into new construction cans, which are firmly anchored. If you were to use them with a remodel can, I would install them first into the fixture--they fit very tightly and would require a lot of force. They come with a E26 adapter, which I didn't need, but would certainly save time installing them. Very pleased overall. (Check out the price at the big box stores for anything similar.)

I had an issue with some recessed lighting near my fan, which were causing a strobing effect through the fan blades. Bought these to angle the light away from the fan, and voila... problem solved. These were incredibly easy to install. They screw into the existing light fixture like a normal light and fit snuggly into the existing recessed lighting fixture. They match my existing led 3000k warm lights perfectly so there is no difference in light brightness or color. Very pleased.

To install, bend the thin metal plates first, otherwise it will be very hard to push it into the enclosure.

Straight forward and fast installation. Perfect. They work fantastic - no flicker when dimmed, rotate easily, and provide the correct lighting color or temperature. Ordering more today.

Very easy to install. Gives me plenty of added focused lighting where I needed It both in my living room and dining area. Quality product at a very good price.

Only con is that the lights flicker when dimmed to a certain point. I’ve had other led products the same thing when Dimmable.

Not as good as I thought, the quality is not so good, The price has a little bit expensive
