SEISSO Bicycle Kickstand, Aluminum Alloy Adjustable Bike Rear Side Kickstand for 18-20inch Mountain Bike/Road Bicycle/Adult Bike/Sports Bike

My son has been asking for a kickstand for his 20in mountain bike and I finally got around to putting one on. Initially, I went for the style that mounts in the center of the bike under the pedal crank, but I quickly found that the pedals would strike it. I then ordered this one and it worked great. I did have to move it all the way back on the frame toward the rear axle, but it did fit with the pedals just clearing it. It works great, doesn't interfere with his riding at all, and my son loves it!

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this bicycle kickstand for my child, and it fits perfectly once adjusted to avoid interfering with the pedals. While I appreciate its metal construction, I'm concerned about the plastic component at the screw area and its durability, especially if kids accidentally sit on the bike with the stand deployed. The installation was a bit tricky due to the odd fitting, but overall, the stand appears sturdy enough to handle regular use. I'll update my review later if it proves to be long-lasting. Considering its price and my child's gentle usage, I rate it 4 stars.

So at first I went the cheap route, going with that other all-metal silver one that was around$5-$6. I put it on my kids bike and at first it was ok, a little weird height issue (it was a tad too long). But it broke about 6 weeks later.Just installed this new one and it already feels better, like it's thicker or just better quality. I like that it goes on the back of the frame near the wheel, instead of the center like the old one. We have 3 e-bikes and they all have this kind of rear kick stand. I'll update this review if it turns out to be another cheap gadget.

There are a lot of products on amazon that claim to be 20" kickstands but if you look at the reviews they are all apparently too big. Took a chance in this one and it fit my son's 20" bike perfectly. It's heavy, but extremely solid and sturdy, which is what you want in a kickstand. Fits perfectly on smaller adjustment. I don't think this could work on any bike smaller than 20" and definitely depends on frame geometry.

As usual and increasingly common on Amazon, not made in the USA and not up to snuff. The first one I ordered had a lot of play in the pivot area, where the rivet is. Indication of unstable. It also had to be extended all the way out, despite supposedly being for the right size bike, which further lead to doubts regarding durability. So I ordered the larger version for bigger bikes and it was the exact same size unextended, so that was good. However this one had absolutely no play where the rivet was, which implies poor quality control and doesn't instill confidence. Also, the inside of one of the screws was welded wrong and the supplied hex tool wouldn't fit to attach it! Luckily I had a backup screw from the other kickstand. Again, absolutely terrible quality control and doesn't instill confidence in stability. There's way too much play when standing the bike. I'm only going to use this for a temporary situation when needed, the bike will be stored leaned against a wall. As others have noted with the cheap plethora of kickstands on Amazon, the likelihood of the stand snapping is too high if you have an expensive bike. This product is poor and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't want the bike to take a potentially damaging fall. We need to go back to USA. Most people would be fine paying the extra couple of bucks for the quality, but that's capitalism at its finest I guess. Definitely don't recommend.

Works great. Easy to put on. Takes a bit of fine tuning on placement as it could block the pedals depending on where you mount it. Over all, pretty good.

Easy to put on bike

I have purchased other rear mount kickstands before that claimed to fit a 20” bike, but none worked. This is the first kickstand that has actually worked. I am not sure this would work on an 18” bike, but for a 20” it is solid.
