Zoombak101213 Vehicle Installation Kit

The ZoomBak Car Kit plug would not fit the ZoomBak GPS. How do I get the correct connector?

I signed up for the contract for a year. They keep charging my credit card. They state on my account history that I started using it 6 months later to the actual date of October 2011. So they can charge $100 for early termination fee. ITS A RIP OFF.

The unit was delivered on time, in good shape, and as promised. It is easy to hook up once you've located a wire that has 12 volt continuous power when the car is turned off. I bought a cheap multi meter at Radio Shack for about $19.00, which made this job easier. It also would have been easier still if I had bought a wiring diagram for the car, but instead I probed for a few hours until I found a 12 volt continuous power supply. Once I found that, the rest of the hookup is a snap. Since hooking up the unit my Zoombak has worked flawlessly, without the hassle of having to recharge the battery every few days. Good luck!

I got the installation kit because I was tired of low battery warnings arriving hours before the kid was expected to be home. I got a great price and it was simple and fast to install. No more worries.

I recently purchased the zoombak installation kit and am very happy with it. My husband installed the kit in no time at all, and it works great. We don't ever have to worry about the battery in the zoombak going dead and it is virtually out of eyesight. It would not be noticed if you weren't looking for it. We just keep it hooked up in the car at all times and never have to worry about recharging. I'd definitely recommend the installation kit to anyone who owns a zoombak or anyone who is considering purchasing one!!!

We purchased the Zoombak auto installation kit for my daughter's car. I already loved the Zoombak and the peace of mind that it gave me because I knew my daughter's location. Now, I don't have to put the zoombak on a charger or worry that she may forget it at home or even that I may get a low battery message 8 hours before she returns! Zoombak 101213 Vehicle Installation Kit This is a great product it is easy to install provides continuous 12 volt power to your unit. Can be easily concealed inside glove box or center console. Inexpensive to have installed at Best Buy maybe $50.00. The cradle is very functional because it secures the unit inside a concealed area. I recommend this assessory it is necessary even if you have a car chargr. Car charger are too easy to un-plug should your vehicle be stolen.

I purchased this product when I ordered the Zoombak Advanced GPS Car & Family Locator. At the time, I did not realize this item was included the kit I purchased.The car installation kit is great. It made the installation very easy and professional. The components seem to be top quality.I have been using the device for a few weeks now, and it has made life easier at the house now that I know where my teenage driver is hanging out. I think this is a MUST PURCHASE item for all parents with teen drivers. It will help keep them honest and help you to give them more freedom.
