The company sent me what was clearly the wrong color(Lime green and black). However the functionality of the unit is on par with the companies high standard. To give you an idea this product sits in a ruck for any distance of 6-12 miles and it provides some motivational music to keep going. Very sturdy product that I use from 2-3 times a week. I have yet to see if it floats though.

I ordered two of the speakers, one arrived with something on the inside flopping back-and-forth. The other one sounded like crap. When I called Altec warranty people. We went through the process. When I told the person that I had purchased two of the speakers and neither one of them worked. I had to call a number and go through the process again because they could only handle one speaker at a time. Still haven’t heard anything from them it was about $140 for the two speakers. I hope they come through with my money back. But I won’t hold my breath.

I was concerned about some of the negative comments from others about the loud voice when pairing,but now that I have one of my own I find that to not be an issue for me. The speaker itself is great for the price - I've compared it to some of the cheaper versions and it has MUCH better highs and lows - definitely a step up! Highly recommend this product - glad I have one!

Sound pretty good and everything worked fine for a while including Bluetooth, but the (female) charging connection seems to have failed no matter which chord I used. Had to return

I had first ordered one going off the recommendation of my friend. I loved the fact that not only was it waterproof but it floated as well. This was great, I had gotten it two day shipped just in time for my camping trip. Excited and ready to use it I quickly found out it would not turn on. I had gone through a process with Altec Lansing and they said I had received a defective speaker and would need to send it back and get a new one. After getting my second one I was happy to find out it worked, might not have been the color I wanted but it would do. Now that I had a speaker that worked I found out a few flaws that I was unhappy with. For one, whenever it is turned up a good bit if there is a slight bit of bass the sound of the speaker will become quite. I understand why this is happening but I have had other speakers, smaller than this and just as loud and this was no issue. Secondly, with my brand new iPhone fully updated the Bluetooth range is good for about five feet with nothing between it. I even my hand is in the way it will start to cut out. Minus these two flaws, overall this little thing is great. It's awesome for kayaking, hiking, biking, camping, etc... Good sound quality and it get pretty loud besides when there is bass. My buddy now has a Mini Life Jacket 3 and it had no flaws so far. Overall I'm alright with this product, I wish I would have spent a few more dollars though and bought the 3.

Thanks E-COM!The speaker itself is very loud and is clearly a step up from other Bluetooth speakers of similar size (that I have owned). It looks very nice and is built to last. the mount for the bike is well made and fits nicely in the speaker and I for one cannot wait to use it come the spring/summer.The only thing I can say that I dislike about this speaker is the loud ass voice when you turn it on/off/pair with your device (This is the only reason I took off half a point,obviously not a huge deal for the quality of the speaker, but she annoys me so much lmao).

Totally value for money. Sound quality is very good; it's rugged, compact in size, effortless handling, super easy to use and now an essential device in my outdoor back-pack; another important part is it's long battery life.

This has fantastic sound and is almost bullet proof. Waterproof sandproof childproof, with great sound, and other features.
