Phenominal camera at incredible price
We also needed a good camera for our church sanctuary. This camera looked like it fit the bill nicely, I ecxhanged several messages with the manufacturer and was very pleased with the results. The camera far exceeded my expectations. The image quality is amazing! The image is very sharp, very low noise and I'm just floored with the color quality. Nothing I have ever used comes close to this. This was my first time with NDI and found it incredibly easy to use with OBS.Now into some nitty gritty about using it. The VISCA over IP port is different than what PTZOptics uses so their OBS plugin will not work unless you change the VISCA port to 5678. This controls movement, zoom etc, but the advanced features like white balance, exposure modes etc will not work with the PTZOptics plugin. The new custom dock controllers do not work at all, they use the PTZOptics CGI interface which ONLY works with their cameras. Minrray DOES have an equivalent functionality but it uses AJAX instead of CGI. Using the Minrray AJAX with the browser in scene changes DOES work just like using the CGI for PTZOptics cameras. There is one issue I found with the camera: initial connecting to the internal web page can be very difficult. The manual says to set up a computer with a static IP address on the same subnet as the camera. Make SURE you have a gateway address specified EVEN THOUGH you don't have a router attached!! Without the gateway address it will not connect. Just adding the gateway address allows it to connect, even without a router. Even then quickly change the IP address of the camera to a subnet WITH a router. Without one it will connect, but only for 10-15 minutes, so don't get lulled into playing with the camera, change the address to one with a router, then reboot and it ill be much happier. This thing with the router is strange, it really wants to talk to a router even if it is only talking to devices on the LAN. Even then, when you first put it on a new subnet it can take awhile to reliably connect. It seems like something is "learning" the subnet and it can take a while to do that. So when you change the address and plug it into the new subnet, try connecting, give it some time try again, it may connect then disconnect and need to be rebooted, then it seems to work fine after that. So don't set it up in your sanctuary for the first time10 minutes before a service and expect it to work right away. Get a good reliable connection working in advance. Once that happens it's fine, comes up very quickly and is ready to go from then on.Other than that it is a fantastic camera!

Really great camera--auto focus leaves a little to be desired
Like everyone else it seems, we bought this camera to live-stream worship services in our church during the pandemic. The sanctuary is quite long--70 feet from the back to the pulpit, 85+ to the front wall. The zoom capability on this camera put the viewer right up close, even at that distance. The pan/tilt functions are really easy to use and adjust. Since the whole building is on the same network, the staff can even adjust the camera and change the presets remotely from their offices. The picture quality is pretty good for a camera this size, but the auto-focus can sometimes let us down.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for I guess. I tested this model side by side with PTZ Optics and I can say the following things. Focus tends to be much better with PTZ Optics. All these Minrrays, nowadays Jimdos or what ever they renamed them too. They are all same Chinies stuff under a different label. Avipas has the same quality as Minrray the software is idenocally the same for them. There are consistent issues with these cheaper Chinies brands. For example once you set up your output mode in the web menu it tends to change byitself with the restart of the unit. As well as other parameters which can be annoying to fix when you running multi camera production. PtZ optics has has a handle on this. Dedicated hardware selector for output modes (1080p, 720p and etc) also setting never seem to reset them selves in camera internal menu.. overall once you compare for yourself you will understand sometimes its better to pay just a bit more for a quality product. When you take this unit and take out the NDI license which is $300-$400 you understand the base price of this is cheap. Cant get much for cheap.. the fact that raised many red flags to me about the quality of this unit. Is when I bought it 2-3 months ago it was named Minrray and now same camera is under a different label. This tells me as a consumer its not a brand that stands by its product.

Fantastic value for a great camera
We were looking for a PTZ camera for our church livestreaming application. There are many great cameras on the market, but found the prices to be high, until we saw this camera. It looked legit on the listing and the price was considerably less than some of the competitors, so we took a try and bought them. When we received them, we were pleasantly surprised to see how solid they felt and looked. Even more, we were very impressed with how well they worked when using VMIx for our broadcasting software. They hooked up to the computer using the power over ethernet and we get a strong and clear picture without having to connect to a separate power source.Customer service has also proven to be great. We had a few questions about the set up and they were quick to respond and had solid solutions for us to try. All in all, we are very happy with the cameras and would use Minnray again in the future when we need a new camera.

Even when everything else is in stock; this is a great buy.
Like the other reviewers we are a church who needed a camera to live stream in order to stay connected with our congregation. We started the pandemic with a Mevo Plus, which was an easy way to get up and running. However, we realized that we would need a more robust, long-term solution. Our first thought was PTZOptics, but as you already know there is no stock. Our list of needs was: NDI, PTZ, and 30x. This camera delivers on all fronts and the price and PoE make it even a better value. We are using this camera with vMix and it can be easily controlled from within vMix with either a Xbox 360 controller or by creating virtual inputs in vMix with PTZ control. When you select an input it will go to the preset PTZ position. Pair it with a Stream Deck and Companion and it's a great one man production system. We are also receiving our songs and scriptures into vMix via NDI for a more complete production. If I had a complaint, it would be minor, but sometimes the auto-focus can get a little dodgy. It is easy to control via the Stream Deck though. We are very glad that we bought this camera.
