Expires with within 3 months - product is fine
I received this item with an expiration date only 3 months out. The one I purchased over a year ago expires in 6 months. It's a non-returnable item. This is a very expensive sunscreen to have to throw out over half of it - we'll never go through it fast enough! I am extremely unhappy and frustrated! So beware that you might get a product that you can barely use.

Great sunscreen, Issue with spray not working
I exclusively use Mustela products for my kids. I absolutely love that they made a mineral spray sunscreen. It’s convenient & easy to use. I would’ve given the product 5 stars, however I’ve had an issue with a couple of the bottles I’ve ordered. There seems to be a design flaw or manufacturing issue with the spray because after a few sprays the sunscreen no longer dispenses. I tried to unclog it and it didn’t work. This hasn’t happened with every bottle, so I continue to order the sunscreen as I do love it when it works. Hope the manufacturer can fix this issue.

Yes! Easy Application Zinc Oxide
Although I'm not a baby, my skin reacts like one, and I welcome this easy application of mineral sunblock. You shake, spray, and rub in. I love the wide area that the spray reaches so that I don't have to work hard to cover a large area. I love that it uses zinc oxide as a mechanical block and is therefore reef-safe. You won't be absorbing chemical sunblocks into your system. The inactive ingredients include natural oils, alcohol, and a few chemicals -- no paragons, phthalates, SLS, or silicone (that I could find listed.)Whether you use this on a child or on an adult, this is best for body application, although spraying it on your hands, then applying to the face works. Since zinc oxide can be difficult to spread in lotion form, this spray allows me to cover a wider area with finer droplets and minimizes pulling at my skin to get coverage.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Good while it works
I’m a strong believer in sun protection and was excited to try Mustela brand sunscreen as I use the brand for other baby needs. This is a spray which applies easier that cream but is still giving white cast and needs spreading rubbing in. After about 2 weeks, the spray nozzle became clogged and I can’t use it or return it as it’s ineligible. I also purchased another brand with more of a liquid spritzer rather than aerosol and that hasn’t gotten clogged in over 4 weeks of use. Lesson learned!

Zinc Oxide spray
I like that this has an active ingredients of zinc oxide. That is my favorite ingredient for sunscreen as I believe it is safe as well as effective. The sun screen provides a light layer of white. Once it dissolves into the skin it is soft, and smooth. There is no greasy or tacky residue. It really is 100% fragrance free. The zinc oxide gives a physical protective barrier. I spray it on my hands and apply it to my children face. I do you use the spray feature on arms and legs. The mist is fine and comes out great. I like this formula mostly because it is a spray zinc oxide. It also has a three year shelf life which seems huge for a sunscreen. I have been satisfied with applying this on my children skin. They have not had any reactions or breakouts while using it. There is an easy lock as well. I always make sure it's locked after I use it but this is also great for when I throw it in my bag.

I Don't Know What Thick and Sheer Mean at the Same Time, Do You?
When I sat down to write this review of the Mustela Baby Sunscreen, I had only one clear set of thoughts in my mind: it was way convenient to have a spray container of sunscreen and that the sunscreen itself was perfect: no sunburns, rashes or zits. Then Amazon asked me about the scent (I don't remember any), and the Thickness and Sheerness of the Sunscreen. I don't know... It was thick enough that no one got sunburn, and sheer enough that you weren't pasty white from the stuff. I used this stuff on myself, and I haven't been a baby for more than half a century. However, I am incredibly sensitive to scents in products, and strongly prefer mineral sunscreens to chemical ones. This sunscreen wins on all three counts. It doesn't sting when it gets in your eyes (which I check on purpose, knowing that a baby will be using this), and didn't feel scummy or uncomfortable.Would I buy it again? Of course.
