FIT PERFECT, TEMPURATURE IS WAY OFF
The controller fit perfect for my Louisiana Grill Series 7 vertical pellet smoker (the one from Costco). Four of the wires where too short - so I had to cut and splice those wires. No big deal, as all the colors matched up and it was easy to do.The issue with this unit is the main temperature probe is off by several hundred degrees. For instance, if you set the smoker temperature to "300 F", the unit will think it is running the smoker at 350F, but the actual inside temperature will be around 210F. The inside temperature was measured with 4 different probes: 2 probes that are included with the kit and 2 other probes from another thermometer. All 4 probes were within 10 degrees of one another, however, the control probe was over 100F off.After tuning in the controller (so figuring out a set point of 350F gave an actual internal temperature of 220F), I started a smoke. After three hours, the unit went haywire and started dumping pellets into the pot, which caused the temperature to spike in the unit. The unit then shut down on high temperature. The unit thought it was over 500F, but the actual inside temperature (according to the four probes) was only 320F.Thankfully, I was able to save the pork shoulder by removing it and just sous vide it instead.Will be returning. Buyer beware.

Temperature not accurate
If I want a 350 degree temperature I have to set it to 450....it's way off. Disappointing 😞

High Temp Reading leads to a Hot runaway.
I had the same experience as IAN, temperature was being reported as much higher then it actually was. 60-80 degrees higher than a meat probe in the air next to the other probe.But mine would also run away to an HErr at 550 degrees. I'm wondering if the temp sensor is wrong for the system.My system didn't come with a sensor included in the kit, I bought the CG Replacement Temperature Probe BP-105P600L for Pit Boss Pellet Grills & Smoker US, which is the combination that produced these results.
