Surprisingly good
I have always used Staedtler products since college. I thought I would try these pencils and compare them to the other brands. For the price these are amazing colors that go down on papers well and blend with water. No color names on the pencils but they do have a number to label the swatches. The best part of these pencils is no solvents are used to blend them--just water. I didn't notice any crumbs either.

A very good value; very nice! (Don't confuse with other Staedler color pencils)
The pencils really are super soft and are nice and bright. They can do a really good job when blending colors, where the blending or white pencil can really smoothen out or blend colors. Sure, do not throw out the Prismacolor set, but these are a VERY good deal for the money. Warning: these are not the Staedler Nouris colour Colored Pencils, which say on the box "break-resistant leads." Those are a lot harder-- if you are expecting a softer, more blendable pencil, these are it. However, the Nouris ones are good for details, when you need a sharp pencil. The colors are the same/similar. I'm using them as a try out in my own sketching and may use them for illustrations later once I get more of a hang of them. Happy with my purchase, so that I just bought another set to give away.

Love it
I bought their markers and I love them. So when I saw that they had pencils I had to get them. I'm so happy that I got them because I love the way they color smoothly and shade great. They sharpen good too.I definitely recommend adding them to your adult coloring pencil collections.

Perfect size
Same color numbers as ergo softs. Great pencils. Great color variety. 48 is enough. Just didn't need to invest in 72. Very nice set

Love these pencils
They are definitely soft pencils so they glide easily onto the paper and are easy to blend.

Jury is still out
Again a color chart large enough to use would be helpful. Does seem to lay down color nicely . Tin lid hinge broke on one side when I opened it for first time. Disappointed on that as that is one of the reasons I usually like tins for storage and transporting supplies.

They sent a fragile tin box inside of an envelope from uk.
The pencil are excellent like always from STAEDTLER unfortunately the shipping from Amazon from the uk to the us was done inside of an paper envelope.

Buyer beware
I’m giving no stars for these pencils. Unfortunately I didn’t go over the reviews before I purchased them. They are shipped internationally so I’d have to pay for that if I do so. Though Amazon states they’ll give up to 20 dollar refund upon receipt of shipment. These pencils have very little pigment and you’d have to press very hard to get any color at all. I tried four all with the same results very little pigment. I bought these because they were recommended by an illustrator on a blog. I believe in freedom of speech but I believed what she said so I bought them. Please don’t waste your money. Update : at ups it would cost over 400 $ to ship these pencils to Slovakia.
