Solid performance with some slight issues. Great buy.
Amazing.I was looking for a solution to a problem. I work long shifts where ear pro is required and ear buds are not and there is someone watching for shenanigans. I looked and looked at different solutions that would allow me to listen, have my ear protected and not get caught. This allows that. I got some earbuds that basically look and function just like earplugs. I hang this around neck in an ID holder on a ball chain under my shirt where the blue light cant be seen and run the cord such that it looks like plug cords. This allows me to be able to listen to whatever and get in a groove and bust out my work, keep the volume low, and hear what i need to hear and still have my ears protected. What i love. Super light and small.SUPER long battery life. Might even be longer than the 15 hrs it says. Racharges fast. Basically it has a 1.5 to 10 charge to play time ratio. If you charge it for an hour you get 15 hrs play time. At least. The sound quality is essientually the same as what comes out of my phones audio jack. The volume steps are great. On my phone natively, the sound is essientially dead a couple clicks before you get to the last step. On this reciever, it has usable sound all the way down to the next to last step and its still functional sound in a moderately loud environment with the plug buds. It does get LOUD, louder maybe than my phone gets. The steps are more even too than my phone has. A couple really small issues. The audio jack would IMO be better if it came "out of the top and if it was centered. But it still works fine the way it is. If it had some provision for clipping or hanging it from a chain or lanyard, that would make it damn near perfect. As it stands i have to use in id holder and a ball chain to hang it around my neck.Indexing. The buttons are physical clicky press type buttons arranged Ipod shuffle style. Thats fine and compact. But... they could have a little more indexing so that if its in a pocket or under a shirt or someone is wearing gloves, they can easily find the play button. Also it takes it a WHILE to turn on after pressing the button to do so. That should be shortened a little bit.The battery percentage reporting to the phone seems to be off. I ran this for at least 10 hours today, and it still said 90%. But if thats the worst problem, its not that big. It doesnt seem to play well with all media players on my phone and its jist a touch finicky about how a button is pressed. On winamp for instance it will advance the track or take it back, but i will not play or pause at all. But on other platforms it does just fine. And you really have to MEAN to press that olay button too. Or it just doesnt send a signalI bought this for its size, physical buttons, and most importantly the long battery life. It is a great little reciever. Ive owned a fair number of recievers over the years, and this is far and away the best one ive owned. I have another one right now that pretty good, its about the same size and has a clip, but rhe battery life is less than a third of this.I havent tried the included plug for jacking into a car audio system, i dont have a car or anything i can plug it into to check it, but it seems like it would work really well. I did check the call quality with it under my shirt just hanging from the earphone cord, and the recipient said it sounded slightly muffled and speaker phone like, but was much better when i took it out of my shirt.Over all, its not PERFECT, but its probably closer than anything else out there like this. Definitely worth the cost.

Add Bluetooth to anything in a retro stylish way
The FIRST Bluetooth receiver I had from a different seller glitched out, cutting audio out from time to time due to the build, something cheap near the input area had come loose was my guess. It also did feel like a very cheap, plasticity device.THIS great little device however feels VERY well built even if it is made of plastic as well. It feels much more solid, if that makes sense. The controls have a strong click to them when pressing them, and the casing never feels like it’s giving in, if you know what I mean. The design of the controls remind me of old retro MP3 players. You’ve got volume control on the top and bottom area and previous and next track controls on the left and right areas. The middle is the play and pause button. Press and hold that middle button to turn it on or off. A very simple, easy to use design before our fascination with buttonless-designs came around.I’ve seen many Bluetooth receivers that try to lesson the number of buttons, having certain buttons do double duty for whatever reason, maybe it’s to save on manufacturing costs? I believe however that having a single hitting for a single purpose is much more useful, doesn’t lead to confusion, and is just simply easier to use. With my old receiver I would constantly hit the wrong button, or I would have to think “do I press this one for two seconds to skip or just tap it?” With this one I just tap the button and it does what it should do. I don’t need to remember what to do because it’s just simple and intuitive. That’s where a lot of other models go wrong, trying to make something super small with minimal buttons. The one thing that is both good and bad is the way the device handles powering on and off. It doesn’t seem to have an auto off feature. With my old receiver, once I was out of range of the device, if it didn’t detect a Bluetooth device connected to it, it would shut off automatically. This one doesn’t seem to do that. It COULD be a negative thing if you’re worried about it losing power but most times it is in my car and constantly hooked up to power. The reason I DONT think of it as negative though is because I can now leave the car, go into a store, come back out, and my phone will just be connected without having to turn the Bluetooth back on.Now, it DOES seem to turn off sometimes... like overnight. Or if I’m at a place for hours and hours like work. I assume that is because since it doesn’t auto turn off, it stays on, and ends up draining itself of battery. I could I be wrong but that’s my theory. However, that is not a deal breaker as I said because once I turn the car on, it is powered up by the usb outlet and works. If your intention is to use this on the go away from a power source THEN be sure to turn it off when you’re finished. If they were to improve Thai model, I would include an auto off feature AS WELL AS making the ON/OFF beeps a little louder so I know for sure when it actually turns on and turns off.TL:DR The best Bluetooth receiver I have used yet! Would buy again for sure!

Must purchase
Really can't find any negative comments to make about this product at this time.Sound quality is very important to me and let's say this thing meet my expectations! And battery life is phenomenal!! It came fully charged so I used it for 2 days and finally decided to charge it well guess what..? It didn't need it at all ... Blew my effin mind lol.. and phone calls sound great! No background noises, so the noise cancelling feature definitely works. I have an aftermarket radio in my vehicle but unfortunately does not have bluetooth and needed to fix this ASAP! I spend most of my time driving and can't go without my music because we all know you can only tolerate FM radio for so long... Easy to use just set my radio in aux mode connected my aux cord to one end of the device and the other to the radio. Turned the bluetooth on from the phone and turned on the device by holding down play/stop button and wait for it to start flashing red and blue and then found it on my phone and paired them up and the rest is history. Connects instantly and has a great range before it decides to cut off little by little. So in advance thank you to the individual (s) who created this thing because you sure have brought life back to my trusty ole radio. Didn't want to waste more money and buy another radio whenever the one I have now works great. I'm using my device with an Android phone and paired up without issue. For those who are in the same situation as I am and just don't want to waste more money on radios buy this device! You'll thank yourself later and from some of the reviews I've seen you can also use it for the household as well. Now all I need is a backup camera and my radio will be up to par with today's tech like in these newer vehicle's.
