MSIH81M-P33 V2 Motherboards

Paired this with an i3, this motherboard is a little bit wider than average I think. However it packs all the features I needed and this simply isn't possible with an AMD motherboard.Overall an excellent budget board that doesn't dissapoint

Very happy with it. I bought this to replace my 4 month old MSI gaming motherboard which cost me double the price of this. My old board was fried when the CPU fan failed and burnt out the CPU AND the motherboard. Unfortunately, as I could not find my receipt I had to replace. I was a little dubious about buying another MSI after my other one failing so early on but every time I do my research and look for suitable 1150 boards on review sites and benchmarking sites MSI comes tops alongside Gigabit.I am using this board with an i5 4690 CPU and 8GB of DDR3 1600 RAM. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the H81 chipset struggles with the larger Haswell CPUs but I am pleased to say that I have not noticed anything untoward with my installation.It's as quick as my gaming board was, graphics are perfect (in fact, I had less problems with compatibility with monitors etc with this board than the other one!). On board Audio is not quite as sharp as the MSI Z87-G45 but adequate for my needs.I would have liked a board with more DIMM slots to expand into later but for the money, the functionality is good. The MSI Bios GUI is nice and easy to navigate and use. There is even an OC facility on this board if you wanted to fiddle about with that.For less than £50 this board is tops. Even though it is not in the same bracket as my last board, it holds up well, performs as it should and runs at a good temp (which is very good!!!).Can't fault it.

Peu de recul l'au-delà carte fait job pour un prix raisonnable (montée avec un G3250 et une vieille carte vidéo 7850) ssd reconnu si formaté. Bios graphique misé à jour facile.

When I bought this product 4.25 years ago, I did not expect it to last under heavy gaming usage. It works and it works beautifully. I installed a SATA SSD and HDD, and a SoundBlaster sound card, and then later switched it out for a Wi-Fi card. My graphics card was a GTX 750 Ti. Unmistakable build quality and reliability from MSI.

For the price, this motherboard has been a Rock Star! I currently have 8GB of memory and a low priced Intel Pentium G3240 in it.At first I was going uber budget on this PC and I was very impressed with the performance per dollar. Most of that credit I give MSI. Also the PCI x16 2.0 is great. I have tested it with a range of video cards from a GTX 460, to the brand new (as of writing this) GTX 970. It has worked great with everything so far.MSI Live Update 6 is also great for keeping drivers up to date. I ran this to get the latest of every driver, and it works like a champ.

My grandson order this in order to build me a new computer. It is wonderful and I am very happy with all the components he ordered through Amazon. My new computer looks great, runs great & and very quietly. I am now able to chat with friends again and check my email without any problems. This motherboard had me nervous because I have always built gaming PCs with $200 - $400 motherboards. I received this unit and was pleased to find it was super compact yet had nice quality dimm slots, PCIe slots, etc. I was surprised to find that it had a parallel port which is kind of cool and might become useful for what I do. For the money it's a good buy - wouldn't put it in my gaming PC and I am not sure I can overclock with it, but again for what I need that's fine. Another cool thing is the BIOS supports mouse input, so that makes navigating a little easier.
