Ordered this and it came same day, which was great. I had a project in mind that I wanted to start right away. I saw other similar scrapbooks that were cheaper than this, however the pens and photo holding stickers were what swayed the decision. Plus I thought if I paid a little more, the paper would be of thicker stock. Im glad I chose this one!The set comes in a cute gift package that I would be happy to receive as a present, and when opened everything was intact and well presented. The sketchbook is sturdy with quality, thick paper pages- I could write over a few times with no rubbing away at the paper, and it held its shape due to the thickness- perfect for photo album. The front cover is a textured, coated black card, but you could embellish and customise this easily.The pens are ideal as they contrast nicely with the black paper in the background, however you need to go over them a couple of times for an opaque finish. The metallic effect shows best after a few coats. I like to use them then write over with a gel pen or something similar for a nice effect.The photo corner stickers are perfect for holding your photos in place. I tried out a quick mock up with some instax photos that I had from my last trip in Berlin and was able to hold them in place with only 2 stickers, so I imagine they will last a long while if I continue to do so, and I can easily source more if required.Overall I am really impressed with this set and would definitely buy it again.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this is too good that I have to! First of all, the quality of the scrapbook is really good, from the ribbon on the outside to the feel of the cover.What I love most is how it comes with a range of metallic pens and the corner stickers. I was expecting the pens to be quite crappy but actually they do a really good job. Highly recommend the whole set to anyone considering buying this.

I really liked the quality of the book and the pens look mazing on the black paper. The inclusion of stickers and tape meant I didn't need to buy anything extra for my scrapbook.

The album has a nice finish to its heavy covers, and comes with a set of very nice metallic pens. These are felt-tipped but have a gel type ink that sits well against the black pages, but they leave a thick line like a marker pen.Also included are 6 sheets of photo corners with enough to mount just over 150 photos if you use four per print.(If you are printing your own photos with an inkjet then you'd be as well sticking them in with adhesive and saving the corners for thicker photographs).There are 40 leaves in the album giving 80 pages, and the card is quite black and is of a nice thickness too. The covers are reassuringly heavy, with a subtly attractive fibrous finish, and the ribbons add a finishing touch that gives this album the 'gift appeal'.A nice touch is that the spiral wire terminates INSIDE the album, so that it won't become snagged on clothing or tablecloths if it is passed around! It's also a decent gauge of wire so I expect it will stay in place.Because the photo corners are a variety of different colours, I'm going to run out of the svelte black ones with clear fronts quite quickly. It would be nice if I had, or could get more of these.In all I'm really pleased with this album, and the kids are enjoying sticking the photos in, and remembering fun adventures!!

Loved this scrapbook I purchased for my friend's 30th. The pens that came with it are lovely and really stand out on the paper. And the stickers that also came with it to stick photos in were great. Can't wait for her to open it.

This album was perfect for me. I'm currently researching my family tree and wanted a traditional style album.

I brought this for my little one, upcoming new member in our family. Its so cute and so different. I can write lovely memories with different colours next to the picture. Started with my baby's scan picture. Loved it so much. Perfect for a gift as well.
