I have an ipod nano 4th gen that I use during my jogs. I finally got annoyed with all the movement while placing the ipod in my pocket during my jogs and the frustration of having to hold it in my hands as I am running. I decided to search for a protective case and this seemed like the best option. I tried the arm velcro bands before and they are bulky, uncomfortable and the plastic covering makes it hard to change music without having to stop and take the ipod out of the protective case. This product works great, is very well designed and slides on perfectly. The fit matches exactly and the quality is good and sturdy. The case clips onto my hip side and does not wiggle or move during my jogs. I am very happy I purchased it and recommend to anyone looking to make their workout more enjoyable. Thank you!!!

I was looking for a small clip for the iPod NANO 7 to put on my hip while working. The iPod slips into the case easily but also held snug in place (no worries on slipping out). Does exactly what I wanted it to do; from a minimalists standpoint, this was the perfect case for me.Word of caution (even though nothing bad has happened yet): Because the case is plastic, I have always been worried the clip portion of this case will break to do day in and day clip on and off routines; so far it has held up with zero issues. I am not saying this to steer people away from this product, I just wanted to point it out in cause you were wondering the same thing as me. Overall, I am happy with this product. I gave it 5 stars because I really like the design and for the minimal cost, there is not much to complain over.If this item had cost more, the only upgrade I would want is to have a low profile metal clip. Looks and feels nice but don't ever plan on changing to a different case, because my ipod is STUCK tight. It was pretty tough to slide into the case and now it's impossible to get it out. I guess it's good that it's secure but I wanted to take it out so it would fit into a smaller pocket in my bag and legit couldn't pry it out.

Nice little case, fits very snuggly. The plastic case is hard, but has a non-slip rubber finish that I like. The "clip" on the back doesn't have a spring to it, but is perfect to put on a belt or a wrist strap. I actually put it on my watch band, and it works great. I have a gorilla glass type screen cover, and the case fits well with it, doesn't impede at all. This case only really covers the back and sides, not the front or top and bottom. Which means that the on button is not covered, but neither are the opening on the bottom for preventing dust. I like this, but if you are looking for an "otter box" type case, this is not it. I would like this more if there were a way to secure the clip "closed". I like to play with my dog when we walk, and it would be better if I knew for sure the ipod is not going to slip off. Maybe a rubber button?I've only had for a week, so don't know about longevity, will come back in a few months and update.

While I do not use my iPod while working out, I DO carry it around and listen to it during my work day. This product protects it quite well. The fit was perfect and, while it was easy to get it on the iPod, it STAYS on it quite well -- I've had no problem with it slipping off. It allows for easy insertion of my earbud jack and has protected my iPod well the couple of times that I have dropped it.This product seems to be just like my old RooCase which, after years of use, split at the top, above the volume buttons -- not sure why.I am really happy with this replacement and bought a couple in other colors for spares for the future.

Very nice case. I still use mhy I-Pod at the gym rather thn my phone and need a case so I can clip it to the equipment. The case I had for a few years finally started to come apart and I found this one. The price is excellent and the quilty is great for the money. They clip seems strong and will work for what I need. The former case was more rubbery and this one is a harder case but it fits the I-Pod well and is, as I stated, very good quality for a great price.

Previous gen 7 iPod I had got damaged and wanted some protection that is functional and not cumbersome without costing a small fortune. I like the color and the many other color options available, and might even get a second one just to change color once in a while. Easy and straight forward to use, does a great job of protecting from incidental damage. The left side buttons for volume and play/pause take a bit of pressure for me to use as I have big fingers. If a flexible rubber cover with protrusions could be attached, that would not get caught when sliding iPod in, would be a nice improvement to access the side buttons with greater ease for those of who don't have tiny skinny fingers.

I purchased this despite negative reviews. Unfortunately most were right on. The case itself is attractive and the fit is good but the volume buttons are hard to reach. At times it will slowly slide either up or down and the headphone jack starts to come loose. I usually like to clip to my pocket, since I'm standing and sitting at my job, but the clip is so tight I'm always afraid I may break it if I pull it far. Not entirely happy with this purchase.
