Claxton Holiday Fruit Cake 12oz

We are weirdos who love fruitcake. Our local grocery store didn't have the moist, gooey, nutty cake we like so I was tickled to find it here on Amazon. It was a great price and we were able to enjoy toasted and buttered slices the next day with our coffee.You will either love it or hate it, depending on if you don't mind the artificially flavored dried fruit, but we loved it. It's really moist and packed with fruit and nuts. You can't beat the price.

I like fruitcake. Some people just don't. This one was quite tasty & moist. To me, Christmas calls for fruitcake, but all fruitcakes are not created equal. This one passed the test, but it seemed to be a very tad bit smaller than last year's.

The fruit cake should've been placed in a small box because it was in a shipping bag and who knows what happened to it is the truck... it wasn't a "hard" cake...so please put these cakes in a shipping box in the future

Try any other brand of fruit cake or make your own -- it won't begin to compare to Claxton's. Years and years ago I learned this one is the moistest, densest, most fruit- and nut-packed holiday cake. My mother used to slice it very thin and call it "stained glass cake" because of the light shining through all the pretty preserved fruits. It looks lovely on the Christmas dessert tray. My cake arrived early. I just hope I can keep myself from eating the whole thing before the holiday even begins!

This fruitcake is so moist, delicious, and full of the great, chunky fruits that give this cake its name! I am so impressed with it! The price is very reasonable and I am happy I bought it! I Love it and highly recommend it!

All fruit and nuts, but no cake. Very small.

The fruit cake was good but the nuts in it were really stale, could not eat!I still have most of ,I will have to throw it in the garbageSorry but true

I love the taste of this fruitcake. I have tasted many fruitcakes, but this is by far the best tasting one out there I have tried.
