Indoor Lighting 1.6m Wooden Floor Lamp with Shelves for Bedroom Living Room(no Bulb) (Walnut)

This is a solid 4*, good value for money, and I'd recommend it.The instructions were a bit small but complete. I'd like to see every piece of self-assembly *anything* like this come with a QR code or link to a PDF with instructions you can print off at a comfortable size. That said, just have a read through first and it's easy to assemble solo.Thoughtfully includes a couple of spare screws etc.I had to change the plug to a dedicated lamp plug from the standard UK plug fitted. The assembly that was already in place was first class - properly fused, proper strain relief etc. a big thumbs up from me.It comes with clips that help to tidy away the (reassuringly substantial) cable.There are a few caveats:* the cosmetic finishing on the edges isn't perfect - you'll never notice in normal use, but it's apparent close up when assembling* the scratch resistance of the surface could be better. I don't imagine this is something with high traffic in terms of heaving things on and off the shelves so probably not an issue - just take care when assembling it when you might be applying a bit of force* I had to manually trim the small finishing plugs with to get them to fit - just shave off a tiny bit of soft plastic with a knife* The shade does dim the light a bit, so just be aware it might be worth trying with a 100w equivalent LED - I found the 60W equivalent I had lying around a bit too dim

There is no disputing this is a beautiful lamp however the price does not reflect the quality. The edges are rough where the veneer is fitted and l had to carefully select which pieces went where so that all the tatty edges ended up at the back out of sight. I definitely wouldn't have expected to have to do this on what is actually quite a high priced lamp. My mum loves it but l have to admit l was more than a bit disappointed, expected better for the money.

I didn’t buy the one half the price of this one cause I thought it looked tacky I wish I had now and saved my money no way is this worth £90I wish I hadn’t built it now I should have sent it back

Everything about it was very happy looks lovely just what l wanted

We love it. Easily erected and looks brilliant. Adds a little more than we were expecting. We have had complimentary remarks and we couldn't be happier.
