I bought this wanting a pure vanilla taste and go exactly what I was looking for. The taste is AMAZING! Cookies, eggnog, and ice cream are beyond words good. Seriously, if you're making something with vanilla and you think cheap vanilla is good enough, try this, you'll change your mind!

I love OliveNation! Their products are so high quality. This vanilla is described as 5 fold extract. The aroma & flavor are amazing! Plus, an unexpected surprise, it is clear! That means it won't tinge my white cookies & scones 😀

Not only is this NOT the product that it is advertised to be IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE.Does not appear to even contain real vanilla, although it claims that it is. This fact makes ALL of the other Olivenation products HIGHLY SUSPECT and certainly not worth even trying. "Approved for brewing"... by whom and for what possible purpose? This can only ruin whatever you use it for, except maybe to make your garbage can smell like fake vanilla.The fact that AMAZON has not taken this offering down LONG AGO means that Amazon could care less about the claims that sellers make about their products. This is a travesty!Normally I get Beanilla Double Fold Madagascar from Beanilla (Spice Jungle), but due to an unusual shortage (one customer bought their entire supply), there was a period that this best vanilla you can get, was not available. I then decided to try the Olivenation 5.5 Fold. It sounded too good to be true and it was; not good, but not true. I should have investigated more thoroughly so I would not have bought it.The Double Fold Madagascar I get from Beanilla has a much more powerful aroma and flavor than this, and that is just double-fold. This Olivenation product does not even seem like it is vanilla, but rather some low-quality form of simulated vanilla. Its aroma and flavor have a hint of something vanilla-esque, but I don't know exactly what it really is. Actual vanilla extract is brown because the vanilla bean itself is dark brown, so when the essence is extracted it comes out dark brown as well. This Olivenation material is completely clear and colorless.There is a stronger alcohol flavor and feel to it than its vanilla-like flavoring and aroma. At 5.5 fold you should have to use 5.5 times less than single fold for the same effect, but it does not have the strength of even single fold, plus it doesn't taste like real vanilla in the first place; although it is a little reminiscent of vanilla.NOT SUITABLE FOR CULINARY USES. I do not recommend that anyone uses this for any culinary productions, especially, for any of importance. In my case, that means it can't be used at all.Maybe it would work in wax to make a vanilla-like scented candle. Even then you would expect a strong vanilla scent which this would not produce. If Amazon does not do something about this I think they should be reported to the authorities for extremely false advertising and FRAUD. Can't say "FRAUD" enough evidently.For my culinary needs, I could not use it. After I opened it had had a taste I was forced to drop what I was doing and go buy a small 8 oz bottle of Nielson-Massey Madagascar to hold me over until Beanilla Double Fold was again back in stock.Nielson-Massey isn't bad, but I do not consider it to be the best. If you only have a choice of Nielson-Massey and this Olivenation concoction, definitely go for the Nielson-Massey. If you can get Beanilla, get that. It was better when you could get the Beanilla on Amazon Prime. For some reason, that is not happening anymore and I have to get mine directly from Beanilla, which does not have nearly as good shipping as Amazon Prime.Frankly, I don't understand how Amazon allows this Olivenation liquid to be sold as vanilla extract. Do they not have any quality control? I do not understand at all the manufacturer's claims regarding this product. If you know real vanilla and real vanilla extract then this product is overwhelmingly NOT that.It does not have 5.5 times the strength of real single-fold vanilla extract, nor does it have the flavor of Madagascar Bourbon vanilla anyway. I don't use other types of vanilla, just Madagascar Bourbon, so that's the flavor and aroma I need. And it is clear instead of dark brown, which makes no sense at all. I will not be buying this again and anyone who is as fanatical about vanilla as I am should steer clear of this Olivenation product. Amazon should have tested this and not allowed it to be sold as vanilla extract. It does not have any of the properties of real vanilla extract at all. Even imitation vanilla is better, which is sad.This doesn't really qualify as imitation vanilla as far as I am concerned. But at least to say it was "imitation" would not be fraudulent. There is no fraud in making a poor-quality imitation. Just using the term "imitation", however, does at least give the consumer the heads-up to not expect anything real.I still have my bottle of this Olivenation substance, wondering what to do with it. But now it is getting in the way and I'll probably just trash it. I can't use it for anything where vanilla is needed. I have been keeping it as an example of the FRAUD that some people can get away with. But it is taking up valuable space.

If you have only used grocery store "vanilla" in the past, you've got to try this 5x Vanilla. You will never go back, it fills the house with an incense smell of baking like no other, and the scent and taste when eating your baked goods will be a new discovery. I made Hungarian Nut Rolls last night and they are beyond Devine!

Good price. I use it in my coffee. I expected it to be stronger. I will probably buy it again.

Bought a few of their products excellent products. Especially the Apple extract. But also loved the banana, and vanilla

Smells and tastes like pure alcohol with a drop of vanilla in it.
