FirstChoiceCandy Roasted & Salted Pumpkin Seeds In Shell Squash Seed 5 LB

The price says $.28/oz. That's 2 2lb bags of product. I received only one bag which makes the price $.56/oz. That's a complete rip off! Also there's corn starch and talc on the ingredient list. Corn is an allergen and talc is a potential carcinogen. The product is advertised as natural and corn is not on the allergen list provided in the description. As a matter of fact, there's no ingredient list in the description.

My local Walmart used to have large sized pumpkin seeds, but this last time, they just had regular sized seeds, which a good bit of them were rather thin and had a bad taste. I decided to check Amazon to see if they had large/jumbo sized pumpkin seeds and decided to give these a try, which I'm glad I did! All of the seeds are a decent size. There are hardly any that are paper thin, and the majority are pretty thick and meaty. There are way more seeds that were good/didn't have a bad taste than the bag I got from Walmart. I might have ran into one or two that tasted bad, but compared to the Walmart bag, there are way more good ones. I was a bit hesitant to spend $17.99 for a bag of pumpkin seeds, but if I remember correctly, the price is about on par per oz. to the Walmart bag, but these are way better I think in size, meatiness, and taste. I will definitely buy another bag when I finish this one, but I've been working on this bag for a few weeks now, snacking on them while I watch TV in the evenings, and it seems like I've hardly put a dent in the bag!

The seeds are large and fairly meaty and salted just the right amount, no complaints there. But....they taste like soap for some reason. A very strong soapy taste that lingers in your mouth. Or almost like if you took a drink of cologne. It's hard to explain but it definitely ruined the normally fun snacking experience you get with eating pumpkin seeds. I ended up rinsing the whole batch, then re-salting and baking them to dry. It got rid of most of the soapy taste, but then of course the shells were not as crackly and splittable as they normally would have been. Will not be ordering again.

These are fantastic! I'm very picky with my food (just ask anyone in my family 🤣), so when I say these are good, they are good. Perfectly salty goodness on the shell with an excellent level of being baked that the shells crack right open & the seeds are delicious & they are good for you!!

this is the third bag of seeds I have bought from the seller. The first two bags are great. The seeds were roasted perfectly and they had just the right amount of salt. The third bag that I got is an utter disappointment. There is absolutely no salt on them. And they are over roasted in many of them have a very rotten taste to them. The other bags had a few of the hundreds of seeds that didn't taste right. But this one none of them taste good. I tried to do a return and it said this item is not returnable. Hopefully the seller will reach out and correct this. Was super disappointed because these actually are a great price and nice size seeds that were properly salted in the first two bags.

This is good and the price is right!A Warning to all, DO NOT BUY "GERBS" brand seeds! trust me, you can say how can you mess up these seeds. We'll they did, all burn taste, I have to throw away 2 lbs of it it cannot be returned. Just look at picture closely, it is burnt. Why will they even sell those. Anyway, when I saw just the color of the shells when I opened it, I knew it will be good. My wife has been buying this for me but for some reason, she tried the GERBS and it was a waste.

Not like the big fat seeds I remember from the past - but little is.I found these to be of a nice size, meaty and perfectly salted. The saltis there, but does not overwhelm the flavor

We love roasted, salted pumpkin seeds in shells, and they are hard to find in large quantities without being really expensive. We liked Simply Nuts, but they've been out of stock, so we tried FirstChoiceCandy. The seeds were salted nicely and there is a good crunch on the shells, but the seeds themselves were not very meaty - on the thin and dry side.
