iClever Mini Universal In-Car Wireless FM Transmitter, Stream Music for Car Stereo System, Grey

I brought this because of the full FM channel range, and it works as intended. However, the battery leaves a lot to be desired. Don't forget to turn it off, it will be dead when you want to use it again. Would really benefit from a auto off function and better capacity battery. If you are okay with charging every day for 2 hours of use, buy it. I would not recommend this.UPDATE: After posting my initial review, iClever customer service left a comment which you can see below offering me a refund or replacement. I contacted them and they did refund me as promised, and I did not require me to return the item. About a week later, I got another email asking if I felt they were making things right, to update the review to 4 or 5 stars or remove the review as the low rating sets them back, which I ignored. A week later again I got another email asking if I received the last email. I will not change my review of the original product. The almost 4 star rating was one of my original reasons for purchasing this product, and now I feel that rating may not be accurate if low star reviews have been updated or removed at the request of the company. This company is gaming the Amazon review system to sell it's junk product. I know many shoppers like myself rely on honest and accurate reviews to help making purchasing decisions and I will not be involved with the trickery.

I currently drive a 2003 Toyota forerunner with a good stereo system but because it's older, it does not have Bluetooth compatibility. After getting an estimate for putting a new system in I was told it will probably cost me about $350. I kept thinking that there must be a better way and now I know there is! I came across the iClevet Mimi Universal adapter after doing a search for units that would work with my iPhone 5s. The price was well under $20 so I figured I had nothing to lose by at least trying it. After I unboxed thing unit, I read through the instructions which seemed very simple and straightforward. I charge the unit for about two or so hours so I knew it would be fully charged. Then I just went out to the garage, jumped in my car and I'm pretty sure it took me less than five minutes to get it all set up. Once I found a static place on the FM band I matched it to the setting on the iClever adapter. I tried it with songs from my iTunes library and also Spotify. It sounded great and worked flawlessly! I'm thrilled that the small piece of technology has save me hundreds of dollars in the immediate future so I don't have to upgrade my car's audio system. When you're finished using it just switch the unit to off and it will conserve the battery. A phone call came through well I was using it and I could hear the other person very clearly through my speakers. I haven't really tested out the option of using my phone hands-free while driving and using the unit. The main reason I purchased this device is because I needed a solution to not being able to play my music from my iPhone in the car. I love it!

This has been a fantastic buy. I was a little bit concerned since from some reviews it looked like some people might have had some interference, but I haven't had that problem. I have an older model car and I'm not really interested in going overboard on making it very connected, but I did want something so that I could easily listen to my own music without buying or burning CDs.This fm transmitter definitely met my needs. The kids have to have their turns being the car DJ, but I'm pretty comfortable with that since they all have decent taste in music. Setting it up only required setting my car radio to a station without a broadcast, plugging this into the headphone jack on my phone, then setting it to the same station. Battery life has been great and it will be for long trips too since the charger port is the same as my phone charger and I already had a car charger with the cord for my phone and an extra USB port. I won't love having cords, but I doubt it would go all weekend without dying.

Edit: Added another star to review. Product has been returned, and I was contacted by a Hisgadget representative, who gave me a free replacement for my troubles! Excellent customer service! I'll edit this review again in a couple weeks and add more stars if the replacement is still working well.----------For the first few weeks, it worked great. Sound came through clearly and loudly, no static whatsoever. After those first few weeks, the battery life started getting worse, and I was finding myself having to plug it up after, at most, only an hour of use. Then, the screen stopped working, only showing "F" and "L". No station number, no battery life being shown, just "F" and "L". Though, I'd know if it's low on battery because the "F" becomes no longer visible and only part of the "L" can be seen. The sound still comes through clearly though! Pending return. I do like this product when it works properly, so if the replaced item works well, I'll edit this review and increase the rating.

It works and looks great as it resembles a lot of a product from Apple and it's easy to use, it's somewhat bulky to a certain degree but still better than other products on the market. To me it felt like the battery didn't last very long but for the price it's not bad at all and worth giving it a try. I have two vehicles so I will purchase another one and compare in case this first purchase was just a faulty one as i do like how it feels and looks.UPDATE: I have changed my rating of the product to a higher one do to the fact that the costumer service department personally reached out to me and helped me out, that attention to their costumers says a lot of the company and the believe behind their product, there for I have to rate it higher than I first did and I'm definitely giving Hisgadget Inc. and their product another chance in the future.

Funziona bene, ma, non lo ricomprerei perchè è difficile trovare frequenze completamente libere, poi specie in viaggio capita di dover cambiare spesso frequenza per trovare quella libera. Scocciante!
