At first it was like sitting on a brick slab, but once your body adjusts its fine. I've not had back ache since just a sore butt. Still, its better than the memory foam cushions l had on. Very pleased with my foam seats. Would highly recommend. Pictures uploaded; before, after and the old memory foam cushions.

Bought this to replace cushions in a sofa and honestly it's like sitting on a rock. So so hard.The worst thing though is the smell. It absolutely stinks and no amount of airing, febreeze or other spray will get rid of it.It's been a couple of months now and it still smells the same. That's all you can smell upon entering the living room. Even makes you smell from sitting on it.Disappointing that I spent £90 on 2 cushions and I'm going to end up binning them due to the smell.
