Adorable but too sensitive (talks too much)
I have been slightly disappointed with this purchase for my 1 year old. The doll itself is adorable, but the baby talks, coos, and giggles constantly. If we take it with us in the car it doesn't even have to be touched to make noises back to back to back. I have to open the back to just turn it off more frequently than I want. I may have received a defective doll, but if I didn't it was way too sensitive to the touch.

Beautiful doll
This is a beautiful little doll. I did not like the "baby noises" feature. The doll responds about 20-30 seconds after it hears a human voice (whether it's a real human or the TV) and it kind of freaked me out. If you leave the mechanism turned on and left the room, the TV could activate it and scare a person half to death. Beyond that, the doll appears well made and is quite adorable.

Cute Doll!
I love the quality of Mademe Alexander!! I will never buy another American Girl doll. This doll is so cute and my 3 year old packs her around like a real baby. If you get tired of the babbling sounds, she turns off easily.

This doll was the perfect gift for my 4 yr old granddaughter when she became a big sister. It is a nice quality doll for the price. It coos and babbles in response to your voice and sounds very realistic. It is the perfect size and weight for even a smaller toddler. A+++ purchase

First baby doll is a keeper!
Bought this for my daughter as her first babydoll, she loves to carry her around and even sings to her. We don't always have her turned on but my daughter also likes that she talks. A good price for a quality doll.
