I have short hair and without this product my hair is flat and in every direction. It allows me to get the style I want without the punk look. If you want the punk look you could let dry on it’s own or use more product. Best of both worlds.

For starters the smell is great, but the product comes about half full for some reason. It isn’t a very strong hold but if you wet your hair before it does better. I’d say it’s worth the try but probably not the best out there for most.

I like the paste but not as much as "redken's mess around 10." This is more rough, with a slightly gritty texture. Redken's is smoother, just my personal preference. But redkens has been hard to find and very expensive lately.This is a very picky detail but, the thing I really don't like on this container is the round screw on top, it is not too easy to open. The regular flat tops on traditional containers are easy to open this tall cylindrical top does not fit well in your hand, and I am not a small person. It also cannot be used to stack other items on top of it on my counter or in my medicine cabinet.

Non-greasy, small amount needed and the hold is great.
