Cannot beat value for price!
This little coop is perfect for my 6 BANTAM chickens, it would be very small for full sized chickens, but perfect for my mini's! I live in Arizona, aka very hot, so we did a few modifications that made it perfect for the sun and heat. We popped out the plexiglass window and added hardware cloth. Also cut 2 small windows in the sides for added ventilation. I also spent a good amount of time/money in paint to ensure it will withstand the sun exposure. Used roof coating paint to coat the shingles and a high grade exterior paint. I am very satisfied with this coop for the money, it was the best I could find at this price point. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy. I added a run under the tree to increase the space, as the floor/outdoor space is limited in it's intended capacity. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product as long as you have either bantams, or only 2/3 hens max. Nesting boxes (2) are sufficient with an easy access door on the exterior to retrieve eggs.

Just what I needed, but would be too small for anything more.
I bought this coop to house some new pullets until they were ready to be introduced into my current flock. For that purpose it is exactly what I needed for a fair price.Considering the prefabricated coops that you can buy in your big box stores, this is cheaper, but of the same quality. It is well designed and easy to assemble. Everything fits well and it should be able to keep my investment safe until they move to the bigger coop. I especially like the easy close coop door and the fully covered little run.If this were my only coop and my three standard chickens were going to live here, it would be way too small, I think even if I were to free range them during the day. The ramp was also too steep and the pullets didn't want to go down it, but I placed a brick under it to lesson the slope and now it is fine.I would consider this a good buy also for a bunny or two or maybe a small flock of bantam chickens.

Cute, very useful w/ considerations.
Works for 2 lg hens in backyard. Not very big, but good nite coop for them to sleep. Not the strongest if lg dogs or a strong wild animal wanted in bad enough, but plenty strong enough for pet hens in no real danger of those things- so depends on your needs. Very light & can be easily moved into a garage or someplace during extreme weather & back out again. All areas are easily accessible w/ a child’s butterfly net or fishing net if needed to reach under the coop part. Easily just picked up & moved aside to clean under, then put it back, or keep moving it around the yard for fresh ground for hens. The small hole wire is GREAT! Much sturdier & nicer than chicken wire & prevents snakes from getting in (unless they dig “under” the bottom edges somewhere). Snakes can’t crawl thru the holes on this type of wire. It’s a very good size for seramas & very tiny hens, but bigger hens would need time outside the run for some daily exercise & exploration either in a yard or inside a shed or someplace bigger. This is a good size tho for indoor use for a pet hen. It’s a cute little coop for 2 lg chickens or 4-6 little serama chickens. Not insulated. Thin wood. Won’t take abuse. Sturdy & built well for a small household little coop where abuse isn’t an issue (not exactly farm quality). Fir & pine are ok woods for chickens, but NOT CEDAR wood. This isn’t cedar & has no cedar smell.

Awesome Little Coop
This coop came days earlier than the earliest day expected which is awesome. I was really worried based off of other's reviews, but I am so glad I went with this coop. It was extremely easy to put together, I wish all projects went that easy! I am a young female and I put it together alone with a single screwdriver in almost no time. It was extremely well packaged with wrapping and styrofoam between each piece and there wasn't a single damaged piece or missing screw. They actually gave me one extra of each screw. It is really soft wood like others have commented. But that's what made it so quick to put it together. I only had the wood split in one place, that's where the hinge for the brooding area lid goes. That was a frustrating angle all together and it's hard to get the screw in at a strong angle without shredding your knuckles on the roof. But other than that one pretty small concern I am very pleased with it. I will be painting it, because I don't think this wood will hold up to the Arizona summers and monsoons, but that's alright I was planning on painting it a pretty color anyways. It is very small. Smaller than I realized, but actually the perfect size for my backyard. I placed it beside a storage shed for extra shade and to give the chicks some extra security from my dogs. For a size comparison that dog next to the coop is 75lbs shepherd mix. I'm not sure how comfortably the chicks will be able to fit in here full grown, but they have free roam of my secure yard, and this is mostly for a safe place for them to sleep at night. Overall I am extremely happy with this coop and I think it's very pretty. The price was steep, but not in comparison to other coops I have looked into. They all seem to be pricey. So for the price, I'm very glad I went with this one. If it lasts a year with no problems I will feel like I got my money's worth.

Cute but flimsy
Not worth the price. The wood is very cheap. When I move it, I'm concerned it will come apart. Be careful when you put it together. The screws go in super easy...

Great starter coop! Put it in a solid chicken run though.
This coop is adorable! It’s a good starter for back yard hens, but WILL NOT keep a determined predator out, so you’ll want to put it in a bigger pen/chicken run that has some chicken wire around the base to keep them from digging under. This is small, so not a ton of hens can fit inside. Figure 3 regular or 4 small hens. The nesting boxes are great. There are extra screws in case you lose one. This arrived a week earlier than than the delivery date amazon expected. The wood isn’t very thick, if you wanted to keep it outdoors and not move it inside a barn for winter, you’d definitely have to add on more wood and some kind of insulation. For summer it’s got good ventilation. It was very easy to put together.
