Writing this after using it for a week. I own a Bose Soundsport TWS, so, my comparison is with Bose.Battery - Excellent, no complaints. 9-10 hours. 5 STAR.Calls - during phone calls, other side caller can hear you clearly but you will hear a hollow effect, like the caller is talking through a PVC tube. So, I give 4 STARBT Connectvity - I did not face any problems with Left & Right connectivity on calls or music. For Calls, you can use Left earbud independently or both together.Good with my iphone 11 but drops intermittently when connected to PC for music or calls, breaks 6-7 times average per minute but reconnects immediately within a sec. - 4 STAR (for calls)Music - Excellent. Bass/LF is excellent, Mid frequency is also good. in the HF department, it is slightly less, maybe 5% to 7%. Stereo separation is better than Bose. Overall, SONY WF-XB 700 is excellent.Fitting is excellent, Wearing it for 4-5 hours does not pain or hurt and I even forgot that I have a earbud in my ear. (with Bose, I remove it every time after calls).The only CON is, the plastic lid is very flimsy and cheap and always seed a fear of breaking any moment.

Been using these for the past 3 months now.The structure and built is pretty solid and sturdy.Pros :1. They fit perfectly into your ear canal and don't come off even when I'm jogging, running or even skipping for that matter. The key is that you need to find the perfect fitting ear tips. For some strange reason I need to use two different sized ear tips in either of my ears. I use the M size on the left side and L size on the right.2. The sound is incredible. Even at full volume u don't miss out on the lows. Everything is very crisp.3. I can wear them for 4-5 hrs at a stretch without any pain or discomfort to my ears. Unlike other tws earbuds that I have used.The buttons on both sides are pretty responsive.4. Taking calls is very efficient. I've never had complains from the opposite person of not being able to hear me properly.5. Battery life is great. I need to charge the case twice a week with a daily usage of over 4hrs.Cons :The things that I don't like or rather I'd say I'm not a big fan of are-1. You can pair only one device at a time. A feature which sometimes does irritate me. For e.g. if I'm watching a movie on my firetv and if I get a call, I cannot take the call on the earbuds. I need to disconnect them from the tv and connect to the phone all over again. A feature that is present even in a few very basic Bluetooth devices - multiple device pairing.2. Left one is the master and right one is the slave. I can't use the right one alone, cos the Bluetooth connectivity is to the left side and then it pairs itself to the right one. Irritable at times since if u want to use the right one only, the left one will be have to be turned on.3. Design is abit bulky, they do jutt out of your ears.4. Alas! No wireless charging.

Review after using 10 days ..I specifically bought this to watch movies, after reading so many reviews and tried using few other headphones finally decided to buy this because of the bass which is my most important factor to watch movies during everyday travel in train for one hour..I don’t wanted to return this because the bass in this is awesome no words to explain while listening songs and watching movies in Netflix.. but the PAIN is one big problem also tried bigger ear bud still after few minutes I’m getting the pain ..so finally decided to have this because of BASS BASS BASSPros - excellent bass , fits very perfectly in the ear , very nice for music and watching movies during travel .Excellent charge which gives you longer batter life .Cons - it’s a very big pain the a*s , cos after 30 minutes of wearing yur ear started getting pain can’t use for very long time.Calling facility is not that great the volume is very very low and other person can’t hear your voice at all ..No noise cancellation in this .

I'm writing this review of after 3 years. The device now has a battery life of only 10-15 mins rendering it useless. SONY doesn't mention the expected range of battery life hours nor the number of charge/discharge cycles for earbuds. So the 9hrs that it gives initially reduces over time giving only10-15 mins by the end of 3 years with daily usage. The rechargeable batteries inside cannot be replaced as SONY chose to make them a sealed product that cannot be opened for service/repair. If you reach out to SONY for help, SONY India genius support will tell you nothing can be done and offer a new model with paltry discount forcing you to shell out almost same amount to buy their next model(that also will have the same fate)

update to this reviewjust one one month after the warranty ran outthe right earbud stopped workingsheeshi took my time to review these buds to give them a chancethey perform well, probably the best of any buds so far and i have tried many...too manythe battery life is excellent, the sound quality also very good and the fit is excellent, imho.i can wear them for hours (and i do, every day) and not feel ear fatiguealso the range is the best so far with minimal cut outs that drive me crazy with other bluetooth devicesi also really like the designmost buds have the control on the side so if i have to adjust the bud it inevitably makes it pausebut these have the control with a little button on the bottomthese are the best ear buds i have tried and i have tried quite a fewthe range is amazing and they reconnect if i walk too far away and come back in rangei have 2 pair nowwell worth the priceand imo better than the 500'si have both

Llevo un año usándolo, hasta ahora me han encantado.Tenia unos audifonos de diadema de la misma marca (específicamente hablando, Sony MDR-XB550AP), hace más de 1 año; y consideraba como opción a experimentar unos auriculares intrauditivos inalámbricos. Nunca los había probado personalmente. Siempre fui de ser alambrico y de diadema.Tenía en comparación con los AirPods (es su competencia directa) y los Xiaomi AirDots, termine decantando por estos; ya que estaban algo económicos que los AirPods, no me agradaban del todo el diseño de los AirPods y tenian el sello de Extra Bass, algo que aprecio.Sabía que los auriculares intrauditivos inalámbricos no iban a superar lo que era una experiencia con uno de diadema inalámbricos. Pero hasta ahora, no los extraño.Empezando por el estuche, es simple y algo gruesos para ser honestos; no serían muy cómodos del todo guardarlos por ejemplo en un pantalón. Aunque la calidad del estuche es bastante buena, la bisagra está correctamente construida y bastante solida. Conectar los auriculares en el estuche es bastante sencillos y se sostienen bastantes fuertes. Me agrada la estética del estuche. Se me cayeron hasta en la calle y pareces que está intacto.Algo curioso que tiene el estuche, es que esta construida de forma que, cuando se coloque en una mesa, esta ligeramente inclinada; dándose a notar mas la marca de los auriculares.Dando a tocar el tema de los Auriculares, son llamativos, si son grandes y al mismo tiempo, son pequeños. Nunca se me pasó en la cabeza que estos auriculares no iban a quedar en mis oídos por el tamaños de estos. Y así fue; con las gomas que vinieron por defecto me quedaron bien.Después de un año de uso, si siento un desgaste de estos. Solicitar los reemplazos de la gomitas es aún una odisea, el Soporte de Sony me dice que busque un centro de ellos, sin embargo en mi ciudad no hay.La forma de colocarlos son algo extraños. En el manual explica cómo, que sería colocarlos en el oído que corresponda y dar vuelta en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj. Se parece como si estuviéramos atornillando a nuestro oído. Nunca se me cayeron, excepto a ejercicio de alta intensidad o comiendo, el audífono izquierdo en mi parecer se va cayendo poco a poco.Tiene 1 botón en cada uno; de la cual tiene diferentes funciones.Son físicos, no son táctiles. Esto depende del gusto de cada persona como les guste mas. En lo personal, no me importa mucho. No me fueron molestos, nunca se me han oprimido de forma accidental y oprimen bien. Normal, pana.Primero conecte los auriculares en un iPad y la conexión fue bastante rápida. También conecte los auriculares en un Samsung Galaxy S7 y fueron bastantes rápidos.La calidad de sonido me llamaron mucho la atención, se escuchan bastante bien, el Bass son comparables al de diadema; pero no retumban como los Beats, sino que estos da un balance en todo, dando un toque muy significativo en el Bass.Me encanta la calidad de sonido, es una chulada. Las voces son claros, los bajos se sientes para ser unos auriculares de este tipo.Me sorprendió mucho como aíslan demasiado el ruido externo. Y eso que no tienen cancelación de ruido.La batería de estos audífonos duran bastante. Por lo regular ya están listos siempre que los agarres, pero si hay a veces que los descuido completamente y los agarro con baja carga.Es más probable que se te agote la batería del dispositivo emisor que los auriculares.Me di cuenta (esto se supone que es normal) que al usar el micrófono de los audífonos se gasta mas rapido sus baterías.El tema de los micrófonos nada que destacar. Mi voz al escucharse en una nota de voz, se escucha un poco robótica. En lo personal, prefiero mas los micrófonos de los AirPods, aunque hay gente que prefieren estos micrófonos, los 2 tienen un micrófono muy similar. El micrófono no cancela ruido de fondo, las voces de fondo se escucharán, pero si hay viento y así, te tienen que escuchar.La gente me ha escuchado me ha dicho que me oigo bien, no ven ninguna diferencia positiva ni negativa. Todo normal.El auricular izquierdo es el que recoge la voz, desconozco para qué sirve el derecho, pero tiene un micrófono el lado derecho también (bno, se supone).Presumen tener HD Voice, pero desconozco si le he sacado su potencialidad. Uso más los micrófonos en aplicaciones de llamadas externas que a la telefonía corriente.Messenger, Discord, Google Meet, etc. funcionaron perfectos. Se supone que en manual especifican que para estos tipos de aplicaciones no funcionan los micrófonos, pero en Android e iOS me funcionaron perfectos.Algo que comentar, que en el manual especifican que es normal. Es cuando los micrófonos de los auriculares están activados, se escucha muy leve ruido blanco. No es molestoso.Los recomiendo por completo, no se asusten por el tamaño.Si bien, faltan más características como los sensores de proximidad y así. La calidad de sonido lo compensa por mucho.
