A great product to have in you’re a Pokémon Go player.
Works great. Sometimes it turns off and have to reconnect while I’m biking causes me to miss a lot of pokestops and Pokémon while biking. You’ll have to keep an eye on your phone and the Got-Cha to make sure it’s connected and working.I would recommend turning off the vibrate feature. The vibration gets pretty loud after a while. If you’re being active and smart, you can get high levels in POGO. I got to level 39 in 6 months. Max level is 40.NOTE: If you catch a Pokémon on your own, the Got-Cha will resume normal function in about 30 seconds.

Works great on Android. Amazed!
After purchasing this, I wanted to write a review of the product considering my favorable experience. I'll preface this by saying that I'm an Android user as well. I had tried incorporating the Pokemon Go Plus (PG+) product with my Moto X Pure Edition and through multiple variations of efforts, I just could not get the device to work with the app on my phone. Thinking the issue was that I had an old phone, I ended up giving the PG+ to my roommate who had an iPhone, also played the game and pairing the PG+ with her phone was no problem.I took a chance on this product already having very low expectations and almost preparing to give this to my roommate minutes after trying to get the device to work with my phone. My expectations were blown away. While there wasn't any type of clear instructions on how to get the device to work with my phone, I went with a very practical process of first pairing the device with my phone and then going into the game and then having the game find the device - this is contrary of instructions that had been advised when trying to use the PG+ with an Android, or at least from what I recalled. This connected right from the start and I was amazed really more so by the fact that I could actually pair the device and use it in-game! If you're reading this, you're likely already aware that this works much like the PG+, minus the inclusion of an actual button to press to take action (throw Pokeballs). This also works to collect items from Pokestops automatically. There are settings also to get only new monsters if you're trying to conserve on Pokeballs mainly to get monsters you don't have already for sake of registering a monster not yet contained in your Pokedex. Also included are vibration settings and a pairing setting; all the settings for the most part are a toggle of Off or On.More about the device: when you are pairing it, it announces itself to your phone's Bluetooth settings as "Pokemon Go Plus". As I mentioned, I had paired the device first to the phone, then started up the app and added the device there. This process makes total sense to me; it's like installing drivers, then using the device with whatever app is needed in the Windows world. Now, that being said, this device isn't flawless - my meaning in that is it doesn't always pair all the time and this may possibly be due to my phone, interference from other signals in congested areas, etc. - it is a wireless device after all and maybe this is just something about Android (I can't speak for operation on iPhones). What I would sometimes run into would be issues in pairing the device with the phone as sometimes my phone might not have been able to discover the Go'tcha. When it did however, I could then go in the game app, and locate the device to connect it. I've spoken with peers who also play the game and have inquired about possible banning for using this device. I guess the only ones who know for certain would be Niantic. I'm hoping that they don't as I've tried a number of times to get support for helping to pair their PG+ product with my phone and getting nowhere. There are considerations that can be discussed about possible banning from using this device, but that's a conversation for another post.Overall, I'd just like to say that I think this device for being what it is in comparison to the PG+ is great. It allows me the functionality I was looking for from Niantic's PG+ that I just couldn't get even with their best efforts and then some. I'm not a fan of the band that comes with it, but I have a replacement band on the way from another vendor. I'd recommend this for anyone who plays Pokemon Go with an Android that had connectivity issues trying to pair the PG+ with their phone. This seems to get the job done.

Works perfectly as expected - a bit faster on IPhone vs Android
It catches pokemon and spins pokestops while the pokemon go app is running in the backgroundIve noticed that it disconnects more quickly if you are stationary or don't have pokeballsAlso, I recently switched from a Samsung Galaxy to an IPhone, and noticed that the gotcha works a lot faster on the IPhone than the Galaxy. It may be just the difference in specs (s10 to iphone 13) but it is quite a drastic differenceIn a 20 minute car ride I average about 50 pokemon caught, which im pretty happy withHighly recommend
