Needs more cars
This concept is great for a toddler as it's stand up, it has lights, sounds and cars!It is well made and chunky and it's nice and bright to keep their attention.I'm pleased i bought it for my little boy, however i do have a few criticisms.....The price was perfect for what it is (i got it reduced), however there has been a problem with one of the buttons that the cars travel over to make a sound meaning that sometimes it makes a noise, other times it doesn't. There's a ramp at the side that moves up and down - but that's all it does... And we had great problems trying to buy extra cars for the play ramp as it only comes with 2; my husband finally got some from the states. Also, given the size and structure of the toy, i would be great if you could buy add on's to this, say an additional track that connects to the bottom ramp or fixes to one at the top so the cars take a different route or something. Maybe add another dimension to the thing and create a racetrack or a police cell that the cars get chased into or something (you can buy police cars).I say this only because, although my little boy has played with this and had fun out of it, it's not held his attention for a massive amount of time as the cars start at the top, whizz round and zoom onto the carpet and across the room - yes i know that's what it's supposed to do, but with only 2 cars initially, he soon got bored of going to retrieve them, for the same thing to happen again. He leaves it for a while and then finds it again, so it'll not go to waste and be unused.

raceway garage
It was brought for my 18 month old grandson. It took my son in law quite a while to assemble it, but my grandson enjoyed playing with it.The only problem we found with it was the height of the edges on the ramps which could have done with being moulded slightly higher as the cars always fell off the ramp on the second level. To overcome this my daughter tape a piece of cardboard around the ramp to stop the cars from flying off.You should not have to do this but had to so my grandson could continue playing with it. It is worth checking this out before giving it to a child as you cannot take it away from them afterwards.Other cars like dinky cars not supplied with it seemed to work better better.

Classic bit of kit
Pros...Nearly all of my friends have bought this for their kids.Robust, great for the little one to lean on as he was learning to stand.Bright and fun.Cons...Worst thing about this and the reason it doesn't get a perfect rating is that this is only supplied with two cars. It's also pretty hard to get extra cars.Overall a good bit of kit and despite the lack of cars most things get thrown down this and seem to slide ok.

Good for my 3 yr old
I bought this for my 3 yr old. It was reasonably easy to assemble and is studier than a lot of the garages on the market. It also fits his smaller cars. He has had alot of fun playing with it. You have to make sure the ramps are fitted properly as sometimes they come a bit loose and the cars come off half way down but it's fine once they are pushed in again. Good product.

Reviews we're all correct
Bought for my 1 year old son. He loves it and will play with it for a good hour or so. Although he loves it (which I suppose is the main thing) reviews about cars flying off we're correct. The cars go to fast for how steep the tracks are and the majority of the time fly off. My son doesn't seem to mind but you would think for the price, Fisher-Price would have quality checked their product.

... you can put away and bring back out to happy smiles. There are 2 lifts
My son has had this for a few years now and it's one of those toys you can put away and bring back out to happy smiles. There are 2 lifts, the petrol pump makes chugging noisee and there are zooming noises too at the barriers. There's a couple of places to store the cars and my son loves to race one car against the other and filling them with petrol. The things you can do with this are limited but what you can do is good fun and entertaining probably from about ages 2-5.

not fit for purpose
cars flying off the ramp or ending up tumbling down, whats the point of that!!! set it up as soon as i got it just to make sure it was all in working order before xmas day to avoid disapointment, thank god i did, you cant dismantle it once you set it up but thats NOT my problem so ive sent it back with some extra packaging, Amazon should not be selling this product it really is awful, oh and the bottom ramp wouldnt click in place properly therefore slightly raised so if the car did make it down that 1 in 10 times! it would buckle at the last minute how annoying! didnt even want my son to play with it, talk about confusing him. Waste of time and energy. DO NOT BUY.
