Shattered Realms Series, 4-Book Set Paperback – January 1, 2020

This was a good read, I wanted to finish the series.

This series is better written than a game of frost on a windowsill and a candle.I have loved this author since my high school days but I cried at the end of READING the Crimson Crown. I didn't cry watching the other show. I am almost done with Flamecaster and Honestly, Cinda Williams Chima, you are among the elite and greatest of High Fantasy Writing <3

Just what i wanted for him

Finished The Seven Realms and wanted to cry, because it ended. Then I discovered Shattered Realms, which continues the saga, and I am trying to read them SLOWLY just to make them last! I am what I would consider oldish (63) and I absolutely love these books. Being a retired middle school teacher, I can say that any age would love these characters, in this wonderful world created in this series. Please write faster and more!!!!!!!!

To read a series without having to leave the house.

This set came with some stowaways (book lice). Pictured are a bunch that crawled out and onto some other books I got about a month ago. I couldn’t get a good picture, but the book adhesive is fairly hollowed out in the shattered realms series I received. I will update if I’m able to get a picture of that.In addition to that, I have issues with the descriptions of literal 15-year-olds struggling with their sexual desires. They act and talk like adults so I’m confused why the author chose a setting where the main characters are all 15-17. This was also somewhat present in the seven realms series, but the shattered realms series takes it to a new level. Overall, I’m very uncomfortable with their ages, and my head cannon is that they’re all 3 years older than depicted.
