Q: In an answer below you state the X3 does not have a braking system. If you leave the cart on an incline does that mean it will roll down the incline?

The clutch system design on the Zip X3 does mean the cart has some resistance on a hill. It will not freewheel all the way down an incline like a push cart. However without an electronic brake, like the Zip X5 offers, it will slowly creep down an incline. The solution with an Zip X3 is to have the front wheel locked and place the cart on an angle. Otherwise for moderate to hilly terrain we highly recommend the Zip X5 or Zip Navigator.

Q: What is it that makes the cart go if there is no remote control?

The MGI Zip X3 has a go/stop button on the handle which allows the cart to start/stop. When you turn the button, it controls the speed of the cart. When you want to turn the cart, you'll need to manually turn it with your hand.

Q: How hard is it to move to free wheel mode ? And then back to non free wheel ?

If you are talking about the 2 rear wheels, all you do is pull the wheels out maybe an 1/8 of an inch
