I purchased Mometrix Test Preparation Life & Health Insurance Study Guide from Amazon My rating is 5.I had already started with other material that was lacking in explanation. I purchase this book and it helped me with skills I did not even consider using. This book helped my break down a better way of studying and answering questions that were difficult. It gave me confidence and hope that I will succeed on the first try. Because failure means I would have to wait a year before I could take the exam again. This would make the career out of my reach and settling for a less desirable position at lower pay. Being locked in and unhappy for a year which can cause depression and health issues. Thank you Mometrix for re-awaking traits and giving new insight and new improved study skills. You rock!!!

This study guide has many tips on how to study, and what to do when taking the real test and selecting the correct answer, but it needs more of the meat before taking such a state test. This study guide is ok, but I thought I would get more information, and more test samples to practice on.It is ok, but don't rely on this study guide alone or you may fail this tricky state test.Thank you.

I loved this style of learning. I had this and the ExamFx. I used my flash cards from Mometrix for about an hour and half prior to training for the day and then used them throughout the day for quick reference as well as used the ExamFX quick quizzes throughout the day. I passed my exam on the first attempt.

First, if 3.5 out of 5 was an option, this is what I’d give the book. I waffled a lot between rating a 3 versus 4.So anyhow, why this rating? Well…this book will certainly help you pass your state’s life and/or health insurance producer exam. That being said, there is definitely material that comes up on the test that is not covered in this book.It will get you “a good bit of the way of the way there” material-wise and might even be enough to pass without another resource. If you’re looking for something more comprehensive, however, you should go with the Kaplan Financial book (and, for that matter, their online videos!).Where this book is at its best is the test taking strategies it offers.So overall, not bad.

Concise ! Used for life and health exam

I hope the information is accurate. The writing/editing is so horrible that is makes me wonder if professionals or teenagers wrote this book. Since I purchased the second edition I would assumed that theses errors, if contained in the first edition, would have been fixed... I'm not an English major.
