Enjoyable Afternoon Art Project
Great little kit to paint a facsimile of Seurat’s depiction of the Eiffel Tower during its construction. The paints and brush are good quality and you can do the painting with what’s included in kit. I added white paint to the palette and I used extra brushes and a plastic surface to mix paints. They give you a little map of the colors to use and printed line drawing on canvas. It was a fun project and after awhile I did it almost freehand. Gave me a little feeling of Georges’ pointillist approach to painting. Very relaxing.

Perfect for an 8-10 year old
When I was homeschooling we did a unit on VanGogh and this was one of our art projects. I loved how intentional yet simple the project is. My 7 year old loved it and couldn't wait to get another and another. I wanted to join him!

Being creative
I have bought many of these sets to give as gifts and everyone loves them. This particular one by Van Gogh is a favourite. It comes with a brush, the paint, a practice page and then a hard cardboard type page for you to paint your masterpiece. They can follow the suggestions or change the colors to what they like.A fantastic gift and one that has everything needed to get started immediately.

Do what you want
The paint is very thin. I started to use paint that I had in my collection because it had better coverage. Using paint I had was more interesting than trying to paint the replica. Some of the instructions were confusing so I just ignored them and did what I wanted for fun. I think these gifts are better if the you do what you want instead of pretending to be Van Gogh.

Great hobby during lockdown
No complaints except for the brush . It came with damaged bristles. Used up the whites and blues and had to buy black paint & brush separately. Everything else was perfect. Very fun and will do it again. Might try other brands.
