Great little knife
Although this knife is quite small, it's a fantastic everyday knife for someone who prefers a fixed blade/belt knife. Years ago I stopped carrying a pocket knife, because I would inevitably lose it working outside. This knife holds a good edge, scandi grind makes it very sharp and easy to hone. It's also small enough that it doesn't look very intimidating to people who see it on your belt in public. The sheath is thick leather and so far I've had no problems with it.A fantastic knife worth the price.

Its definitely mini, TOO mini!
Condor products, my 3rd or 5th item, always get a 5 star due to quality and value. I love their stuff.....however, I wish I had looked over the description better because this knife is much smaller than I expected. I was looking to downsize some on my hip from the Bushlore, which i love and use the Bushlore more for when I'm actually in the bush and the mini more for everyday use, nope...too small. Its like the Zoo Lander phone size. Anyways...my bad. I will just give it to my son when he's ready for his first knife. He's 3 1/2 and I think its probably right size for his hand even now....thats how mini it is folks.Second review, 09/21/2017: Whatever regrets I may have had when I originally purchased, basically the size issue i was having, are no more. I love the size! Its perfect on my hip and usefulness at this size is perfect as well. Love Condor knives!Update 06/18/2019 I have now had this knife for 3 yrs plus and still love this little guy. The size is everything for me....its like the perfect pocket size knife only wore on the hip where its so much more convenient and ready. No clumsy folding away to the pock. It does have some wear and tare from being used so much and lots of sharpening but still expect a life time of use. I just recently started using a wet stone for sharpening. The band sander was nice and fast but tended to give more of a convex edge which is not the sharpest edge and dulls quickly. The sand stone after some work, has given me a nice flat and razor sharp edge. Great knife!

The price is right!!!!
I have to say: based on some of the reviews, I (almost) half expected a a rusty piece of metal sandwiched between 2 sticks! Quite the opposite; I'm happy to say that this knife has exceeded my expectations.I did watch some YouTube video reviews, and scoured Internet forums, and thus helped manage my expectations considerably.1st, and foremost: (for the price) This is a well made/crafted knife.2nd, blade came decently sharp.3rd, this knife is rustic, and harkens back to a time of wilderness exploration.Came well packaged; in a nice Condor box, blade taped in tissue, within a plastic bag with a silicone packet.Sheath, was of perfect sized leather, and well crafted.I cannot overstate this: for the price, this knife is awesome!I purchased to use, not as my primary, but rather a neck carry knife. The leather sheath is nice, (and would work for neck carry) although not ideally suited for this task. 'Tis a much better belt sheath.I'm having a custom kydex sheath made for it for that purpose/reason, and that purpose/reasoning alone.I wear XL gloves, and would say that this knife is a 3 1/2 finger handle. So far I'm very impressed!I will (and always do) edit this review after a fully test this knife.I'm looking forward to that.I'm also glad I took the risk and purchased this knife. It didn't break the bank, and so far, it fills a place of need for me perfectly!

Awesome knife
I should have bought this knife years ago, it is a real pleasure to use. I had to sand the handle a tiny bit with some 1000 grit, not enough to knock a star off. It came with a true scandi grind, so you will have to add a micro bevel if you want one. I am leaving it true scandi for carving. The knife arrived perfectly sharp. The blade shape is well balanced and the tip is nice and sharp. The grip is perfect (I have medium sized hands). The sheath is on par with every other Condor knife I have - well crafted from nice, thick leather.Like I said, I contemplated this knife for years before finally purchasing. I highly recommend it.

Great Utility Blade
I love this little knife. I own several of the cheap Moras that I carry and use for utility purposes, but am now switching to this knife. Don't get me wrong, Mora is and will always be a great knife, especially for the price. But for a few dollars more I bought this and couldn't be happier. This knife has a nice blade profile that makes it great for many utility tasks. Coupled with the very decent 1075 HCS and it sharpens easy and holds an edge well. Overall excellent in fit and finish. From the pictures I originally thought this blade had a Scandi grind. But after receiving my knife and looking at it, I find it in fact has a Hollow grind (slight concave). This means you can get the edge scary sharp. Mine came hair shaving sharp right out of the box. The sheath, as always with Condor knives, is top notch leather. It is a thick leather friction sheath that holds the knife securely.I look forward to using this knife and even plan of buying a couple more for my daughter and nephew who I take camping who have been bugging me for a knife of their own. This little blade is perfect and is also the prefect knife to teach them how to care for any knife. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a small, multi-purpose blade that is inexpensive yet a handsome knife and sheath.
