I would say no. These are awesome shorts very well made and great quality. I wear every color underwear from dark the bright colors with mine and I haven't had any issues. I just ordered another pair

Q: Im 5'9" can i rock these without looking out of place? Also legs are skinny?

The leg opening (at the bottom of the leg) are 24 inch on a 33 inch waist. There are definitely not slim fit. If your legs are skinny these will look very loose.
